I have six bone conduction earphones of different brands. They don't bother me. Some have mic booms. One has a removable boom (which I've lost akready, as I knew I would). They sound OK and you don't risk losing them like earpods. (At home, I use good earpods or my Sennheiser Momentum IV bluetooth headphones or some large speakers.) It's good to have options. I might buy a pair of these.

Isn't "air conduction" literally just how sound works? I mean... what would be the alternative? Water conduction? Vacuum lack-of-conduction? They really need to lay off with the silly marketing speak.
