How to connect this speaker to PC, 3.5 to 3.5 or 3.5 to RCA? What's the difference?

Like other Edifier products this has a class D amp driving it. Unlike others, there are no digital inputs (optical or coaxial< and therefore no DAC (digital to analogue converter). I want better sound from my TV. What if I connect the TV's optical output or the DVD player's Coaxial output to an inexpensive DAC and then into the speaker's RCA inputs? I would expect better sound. Waiting for price drop on this V12.

It doesn't have tws so you cant connect them witessly, however u can daisy chain them via aux in and RCA out, this won't give you seaprate left and right channels, but rather 2 stereo speakers. Please consider subscribing 😊

Nice review! Very good sound, despite this speaker has only SBC bluetooth codec. I want to connect my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 using the RCA 3,5 mm cable that comes with the speaker. I'd like to know, please, if this connetion has some kind of hum or noise. Thanks!

Oh yes lows mids and highs are all great on this speaker, you won't regret buying it, this thing is build out of solid wood and it sounds great, you will be rocking your head back and fourth until you pass out 😂😂

I have some kind of addiction to good speakers 😂 I have a set of edifier luna eclipse on my desk that i use daily and I love them. I've been looking at marshall acton II to place whenever I want to listen... Came across this one's and might pull the trigger, first because I have the Lunas and love them, second because they're half the price of the marshall and have almost twice the power, third but not least, the connections and remote...

Look very good but I would like an improved version with at least two 6" speakers instead of 4". It should also be able to play as left and right if you bought a second one. You should do a review with sampling a Beethoven or Tchaikovsky symphony or some Judas Priest

Hey Shak, does the D12 can act as center speaker? I mean, I already have r1280db for my L/R...now, I wanted to satisfy my ears with center speaker...

If your using a Windows PC with 7.1 surround sound, then this is the perfect center channel. That's what I'm doing, but with 5.1. Getting 2 sets of r1280t's a D12 center channel, and a T5 subwoofer. With a pc, you just hook up all the 3.5 mm audio jacks to the front r/l, rear r/l, side r/l, center/sub, and the sub needs to be routed from one of the speaker pairs. If your asking about using the r1280db with the D12 without a separate audio source, then no, I don't think you can.

I don't have this speaker anymore but from what I remember there was no need to use and EQ the sound was great as it was.

With several of the Edifier self-contained systems, you wouldn't need to connect a DAC, because your system already has one. The 1700 and the rest are said to put out decent sound.
