You have no idea what these speakers are capable of. They are 10× better than your so called "sound bar". JBL, Sony, etc they are not even in the game. Have you seen any high res speakers from JBL and Sony? JBL has just 1 or 2 models of studio monitors. Edifier's are value for money powered/active bookshelf speakers. You guys are obviously no audiophiles you just want room shaking bass. Music is not just bass, it's about the warmth in vocals, totality, sound stage, imaging, stereo separation and most of all the frequency response. Even my cheaper pair of R1855DB produces room-filling bass, in fact the bass is too much for my liking. I always keep the bass down to balance out the high mids and lows. However If you want to break your window glasses then you can add Edifier's T5 sub woofer.

@@thegreatestofalltime777 I'm looking for speakers to use with my TV, which I use for netflix but also music. I'm debating between the edifier s2000 mkIII and the samsung HW-Q800D. I hear alot of good stuff about both. Any opinion on that?

@@vyvynylification I'm talking about music listening. there are 5.1, 7.1 channel speakers only for the movies, in case you want the full Dolby experience. But remember it depends on room size, placement of the speakers and room acoustics.

Wiimamp mk 2 with mission lx 2 mk 2 would be a better bet. What do you think?

I’ve not heard the sound of mission via this amp. But possibly . Usually separate systems do tend to sound a notch better

I haven't heard any of these but I can tell you that KEF LSX or LS50, Meta is the best seller, followed by Klipsch the Fives or The sevens.
