You're getting strange man, it's like you're reading my mind, you make all the comparisons i can think of lately, thank you!!!! S350 sounds better judging this video, but for the price, solo 6c wins hands down. S350db costs twice as much, definitely not a bad purchase if you can afford it, but going with Solo 6C isn't a bad move at all.

In Russia, Microlab Solo 6C cost about $ 150, Edifier S350DB about $ 190 (not twice). The choice is obvious.

@@Shaman73aBToP lucky you. The s350db cost 299€ on Amazon, while the 6c has an average of 150€. I managed to buy myself a pair for 125 shipped from an online Italian store, which is a bargain. S350db surpasses 6c in just about everything so double the price is justified, if you can afford it obviously. For 40$ of difference, I don't see any reason to get the solo rather than the 350db.

Can you make a comparison between Edifier S350DB and Edifier R2730DB? They are at the same price range, but they are totally different from technical perspective. People interested in punchy bass would be really glad for a comparison. Thank you!

In my region S350 is almost twice as expensive as R2730 :) But comparison will be really interesting.

Which of these are louder if played from the same source at the same volume? According to the specs, Microlab solo6c outputs 100W power however the satellites of the edifier alone only have 80W total. Which ones should be louder?

Hi! I've an old Telefunken L61 Loudspeakers, i want to replace it a newer speeker for my PC. I like the Telefunken 'cause it has very good sound, but i have no enough space in my room for it. I looked at the Microlab Solo 6C, is it worst sounds like the Telefunken?

Hi Digital Stereophony, I am planning to buy a budget setup for my living room TV. Will be watching movies and KZbin mainly on my 55 inch TV. Also plan to have Bluetooth functionality so that I can chill and listen to music in my living room from my phone. My living room is about 5 x 7 m and 3m high. What system would you recommend? 2.0 or 2.1? Would the S350db be ideal? Or are there better budget speakers that you have experienced? EDIT : I want to add I can buy S350db new for USD 220.

If you want something cheaper but almost like the S350DB, try looking at the R2730DB, it also has optical imput and Bluetooth, it is a 3-way but from what i know it is better because being 2 of them the sub woofer can handle higher freqencies (over 80Hz), wich can't be done by a subwoofer box because you will hear where the bass is coming from. I have to mention i do not own any of them at the moment.

i bought solo 6c used for 60 usd, what a great bargain

I bought this last month not because it is a cheap price but because they are simply the best speakers on the entire market. A small satellite 2.1 configuration play better than anything else. Small satellite with only 2 drivers are more precise because the 2 drivers are close together so no intermodulation distortions and idiosyncracies like in big tower speakers. Only one dedicated subwoofer play better bass because bass is omni directional and two big bass drivers like in any full range tower speakers over-run the bass output causing peak and dips in the bass response because of two outputs instead of one. Also edifier is the only company selling a good quality 2.1 speaker system. Engineering is engineering and edifier can construct better system than anyone else and the price is low because good engineering need simplicity and other speakers companies are over- engineering their products.
