Form is very rarely the reason for injury. Doing too much, especially too soon, is far more often central to injury occurring. Huge misconception amongst newer/non (even experienced) lifters. That said, getting a coach would be a good shout for reducing the chance of injury, but mainly for load management, not form related, reasons.
@theeternelyeboii67843 жыл бұрын
@@chadpezza307 Perhaps dude! No way to know either way without more information and lifting injuries typically have a multifactorial etiology (many causes at once). From my experience though, most young guys love to train close to failure too often and with too much per session volume. Its more often those squatting 225lbs, not 5/600lbs, doing too much without giving their bodies (particularly connective tissue) time to adapt to new training loads

The Chiropractor is one of the best groomed, pleasant, professional and comforting Chiropractic doctors I have seen. He is also very good with his patient as he informs him what to expect. He continually is speaking to his patient ensuring he is at ease with the situation. His patient certainly is able to endure more pain than most people. Depending on the cause of the “grinding” and “popping” you may never be able to make it stop and in fact often time that’s normal and ok. If you’re concerned I’d recommend seeing a physio or a doctor (if you think there may be an actual injury present), but generally speaking knees, shoulders, and many other joints pop and make a pseudo grinding sound in a non-pathological way so if you’re not feeling pain or instability or some other symptoms when the shoulder pops or grinds I wouldn’t sweat it unless of course there was a particular incident in which you were injured and the shoulder started doing that afterwards.

That thing about the atlas bone was crazy. I have the same thing it turns out, just switch the sides. You could feel the bone on my left side, but not on my right. I've felt that my neck/head isn't really in balance(where it wants to be isn't the correct place to use the mans own words). A couple of years ago I had Bell's Palsy affecting the right side of my face and ever since then my hearing in the right ear have sometimes been a little sensitive and I sometimes feel a tingling sensation there. Bell's Palsy is inflamation/swelling of the 7th cranial nerve, which just so happens to go right beside the hearing nerve, and when the 7th cranial nerve gets swollen it will press on the hearing nerve and you guys get where this is going... As I lay here in bed and tilt my head to the left to "even out" the Atlas bone I can feel something happening in my ear, my shoulder suddenly feels a little less rigid, my right side of my hips(which have been ridiculously tight) started to loosen up a bit, my left side(going all the way from shoulder and back down to hips and even feet) feels a bit more responsive(for a long time I've had issues with mind-muscle connection on my left side). Simply crazy

I really wish someone with your unimaginable experties ran a practise here in norway. I’ve been struggling with my left shoulder and left lower neck since i was 15/16, and in recent months developed a pop and pain in my left elbow. I’ve taken mri images, gotten treatment by osteopath and physiotherapist, and none of them have had a logical explenation for my issues. It feels hopeless, and a lot of money has gone down the drain.

Most informative video I’ve seen on this yet. I have a neck injury from a fall, get spasms frequently.. the chiropractor I was going to only cracked my neck and sent me home… for a year!! Thanks for sharing.

I finally found a chiropractor who is helping me. We are realigning posture of my neck and I don’t want to jinx it but… I haven’t had any neck pain since I’ve gone on my journey to correct my neck posture. I even got one of those fancy pillows like you have at the end!

Poor guy. He’s got incredible strength to be persisting through all this joint instability all these years. It’s sad, though, because a healthy majority of his pain could probably have been alleviated, if not fully avoided, from prioritizing technique first over load while lifting, stretching & warming before and after exercise, and getting checked out sooner rather than later. That said, it sure as hell ain’t as easy to pick up on these habits as a kid as it is as an adult. Kudos to him for finding a chiro and taking charge while he’s still young. I pray for a quick and painless recovery and wish this lad all the best! 💙
