They really don't make or write programs like this anymore, and it's a shame. We had some of the greatest programs at one time we were very lucky. We had only fools and horses, one foot in the grave, dads army, Absolutely fabulous etc. All these tiktokers and KZbinrs and people who say their influencers have nothing on these programs and the Absolutely amazing actors from it, that was talent. I really really miss these days and the older I've got the more I've come to appreciate them aswell.

It's a joke about models not eating, aka Pats never eating (also, the stereotype that models throw everything up was part of the joke) and Pats used to throw everything up before the stomach bypass joke in the show.. But like your previous reply was, you're overthinking the comedy. It isn't to be taken literally, it's purely for the satirical humour. Of course in real life she'd be dead. It's a tv show though, not a documentary..
