i lived in Edinburgh for 2 years or so and moved back to India in january. This video just made my day, remembering the roads and and playing quiz as to which shop will come next. i was really hoping you would go to heriot watt university (where i studied) because you 95% followed the same path. sooooooo happy to see the video. thanks a lot for refreshing all the memories :D

UK roads have deteriorated shockingly since I was last there (1991). So many scrappy, patched-up surfaces- 4:50-5:00 is a nightmare. Nice city though.

@@politicalphilosophy-thegre3894 Hi, the SNP govt have slashed the road repair budget by £1bn over the last decades mainly because they are trying to get us off the roads for environmental reasons. I've lived across UK where the roads are a much better standard.

Edinburgh has the worse roads because the Edinburgh City Council are the worse out of all the Scottish council, poss even the worse in the UK. Pathetic pen pushing councillor and useless planners.
