Thank you for sharing your expertise. I passed the 608 general several years ago partly with your older videos & ESCO study guide (was told by test proctor I got the highest score he had ever seen, don't recall if it was perfect or not). Now reviewing as this is not something I use on a daily basis. Watching your newer videos I cannot help but notice the difficulty you have with the surgical type mask. One suggestion I can't resist making from an Occupational Medicine point of view: you would be much better off with an N95 respirator (the type with elastic around back of head, better seal around nose, don't constantly fall below your nose/mouth, and actually prevent covid infections, unlike the surgical masks). I have found that the disposable HDX N95's available at big box stores (like HD) are very comfortable, don't touch my nose, and so far me or my spouse have not NO COVID in 4 years using them religiously indoors. Pack of 10 (or even 30) is cheap & they can be used for a week or longer each if kept dry. If school supplies a different kind & you can't afford the better type (unlikely), one suggestion is to twist the straps on the KN95/surgical mask type ear loops before wrapping them around the ear. This takes up some slack & helps keep them in place better. Sorry, I couldn't resist adding this because I saw you struggling with the surgical masks, and also because I believe that masks get a bad reputation for effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) when they are not worn properly -- like wearing gloves with holes in them while working with acid - just doesn't work as well! Again, terrific lectures, and very important knowledge, thanks for sharing.

The discussion from 13:00 to 16:00 about what pressure you must get the gauge to before you open up the system for repair is incredibly important! Thank you. 🙏

I just passed the EPA universal certification test. I was using SkillCat app and going through the program only once and passed the test within one week. I do have some background in HVAC and chemistry though.

As a point of clarity, at 13:15 you mixed up the symbols. You spoke the correct term but you wrote > for less than and < for greater than. It's actually the reverse. Also for clarity you should specify that if it's EQUAL to 200 exactly, it goes in the higher category.

You are correct Sam. There was a teaching opportunity missed and I moved on without correcting. Good point of clarity.

@@edisonhvac Ha! You even said in the video that you sometimes mix those up. I'm _really_ surprised none of the students caught it 🤭

In this video, your less than and greater than symbols are mixed up. The easiest way to remember is if it's () is greater than. Just pointing that out. (Since you do mention it in the video)

Gauges should all be calibrated for your elevation. My gauges would read slightly different in Denver vs. DC. There is an adjustment screw.
He bought this so I can drive too🥹😭 #tiktok #elsarca
