I live in California, but my mom is from North Carolina, and I have cousins who live in Columbia, South Carolina. My cousins have a condo on Edisto Island. I love that area! We would spend a week there every other summer. I prefer the Atlantic Ocean there to the Pacific. Thanks for reminding me! 😊

What a great State Park. I am always in for a campging ground where you can walk to the beach. Putting this on our list next time we go to South Carolina. Love how you can take your dog on the beach. I liked the beach side better than Live Oaks. I think we would go if we could get the beach side. Does Milo like getting into the water? Mary 💞 Fred

Nice campgrounds ! I think I like the state park one the best! I like the sites next to the beach access. That was nice that Milo was able to check it out with you guys this time! Oh, yes, I know all about those evil little sand spurs! They are very painful. The picnic area was really nice. I could see us enjoying a picnic lunch there under the palms ! What was your actual date you visited here ? There didnt seem to be many people on the beach, or in the parking lot at all.(thats why i ask) Did you collect any shells? Milo had a nice little walk...that was so funny, while you were exiting the beach, I had to giggle when I saw where Milo had to "water" some of the sea grass as he left! 😄 Was it hot that day? I didnt notice too much of a breeze. Love watching the Pelicans glide over top of the waves!!! Its cool when there are a whole line of them headed down the beach. Looks like a fun time! vicky
