I found the two of you maybe 2 months ago and now binge watch your matches more so than any streaming app I have. Thoroughly enjoy the pair of personalities and have the urge to pull my clubs out of storage.. providing I can find a friend that can make the gun as fun as you two do

You guys are humble as well as honest about your games. Not at all true with most golf pros. You two are a true breath of fresh air. I'd rather watch your videos than watch tourneys on tv. Please keep them coming. Thanks

Some of my fav tv to watch. You guys and extended groups are great, keep it up! If nothing else, you've helped me to feel more confident about my own game ( ; Rick, having watched many episodes, you seem to miss most of your approaches and chips to the left, approx 11 o'clock. Try aiming to 1, same swing(s), and you'll be on the pin. Cheers!

I played this course a couple of times when I was in the Algarve and really liked it. However, when I played it the grass was much more grabby than it appears here. It was really different chipping around the greens and from the first cut of rough to what you get in the UK. These guys handle it really well. I DID NOT!

i'm just starting out in golf and i really struggle to aim my shots....went 77 over par today. anybody got any good advice?
@alanp67737 жыл бұрын
Start taking lessons. To shoot 77 over par is beyond words but do not get too discouraged. Within a year or so and you take at least 25 lessons..., I bet you you will shoot around 100 . Then in time.., break 100. Always practice your short game.., pitching, chipping and putting. It's just a matter of time if you practice 2/3 days a week. Good Luck...!
@saucysimpson2597 жыл бұрын
I ahve been taking some lessons. I've had 6 now on getting the swing right. I just find it much harder to play off grass than on the driving range
@alanp67737 жыл бұрын
1st.., to admit you shot 77 over tells me.., you are a honest guy. Yes.., off the practice mat is a little easier but you're working on developing your swing. My first round of golf I think I shot 123. It took me 2 years to shoot 99. I kept at it because I loved the game. I still hv not broke 80. My best advice is to swing at 70% and always remember to turn your hips both on back swing and your follow thru. Plus.., next time you practice just use your 9 iron and try to hit ball.., 30 yds.., then 50 yds.., then 75 yds., do this 1,000 times. I bet you will hit some pretty solid shots. Don't give up..!
@saucysimpson2597 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice dude :)

I really enjoy watching your content! Great stuff - please keep up the good work! One question though: What is it with those emojis, that seem to appear more and more often on the gallery picture of your videos? I do understand, that you want to express emotions and stand out a bit but I (in my late twenties!) find this quite childish! Please don't overdo it, as it really makes it more difficult for me to click on those videos ;-) PS: I'm sure a "professional" graphic designer is able to give you a hand for little money and your videos would stand more and attract people even target-group-specific...

Respect Rick's game, and him as a person... But I've never understood why he refuses to play lower trajectory half & 3/4 shots?! He routinely misses approach shots long & left from inside 100yds. Playing everything with a full swing "lobber". Really hurts his scoring, and how he does in these friendly matches...

so strange reading the putt by standing where the ball will not roll lol, doesnt matter how it feels over there, the ball isn't going to roll over that... putting well is all about clarity of read to feel confident in the stroke, if that crap helps then ok

Why not mark your ball with a coin Pete? A tee is an obstruction that Rick's ball can hit. His ball would just roll over a flat marker.
@peterfinchgolf7 жыл бұрын
I very rarely carry coins
@fairwayray7 жыл бұрын
You're a class guy and I admire your work, but your reply is rather curt. In the world of golf paraphernalia, ball markers abound. You can pick one up at the Masters!
