I quit golfing in 2010 after only playing for a year. When I had COVID in 2020 I was off work for a month. His channel came up on KZbin and I spent 3 weeks watching his content. The first thing I did after getting better was go to the driving range. I’m now back to playing 3x a week. Watching Rick inspired me to get back to playing and kept me entertained during a rough month and he continues to keep me entertained. I wish him nothing but the best.

@samd9725 Жыл бұрын
Entertaining yes, definitely helpful. If you're following his swing techniques, gl breaking 100. He barely breaks 80 in his videos. His handicap was especially apparent in the good good x rick shiels videos. He was barely keeping up with the higher handicap guys in good good. He brings lots of very entertaining videos, but he is in NO position to teach people how to golf with his horrible swing.

I recently started playing golf, after a layoff of several years. I never was any good but when some guys from church decided to meet regularly at a driving range I decided to dust off my clubs. After the first outing I decided to look for instruction on KZbin and viewed a few videos of other instructors. Then, I happened upon Rick Shiels videos and saw immediate improvement in my irons & drivers. Rick is very personable in his videos. It was as if on was at the range listening to him in person. Now, I pretty much just pull up his videos to check on videos for a golf fix. Thanks Rick from this 66 year old American student.

I took up this awesome, hateful game 5 years ago at the age of 51 thanks to a Rick Shiels KZbin video. I'm still getting a little better at it everyday and my wife has now gotten into golf and she's a blast to golf with. Volatile and un-predictable. Lol. Golf video's, mainly from Rick or the awesome young men from Good Good golf pretty much dominate the big screen at home now. It has been great seeing those 2 golf channels pair up. We love the young fellas from good good but Rick's still our favorite. Much continued success to you and yours from your yank duffer fans across the pond buddy.

Listen, first off Rick shields has given me many many hours of golf entertainment his depth of content has been sensational and everything he gets from this money wise he is due that and even more I’m under no illusions Rick has worked harder than anybody and I hope that he earns millions upon millions from his channels going forward and now. But let’s not be foolish, as a golfer, a pro, a coach even Rick is not a golfer, and when I’m talking golfer I’m talking a high end golfer, there’s many people out there that have more golf talent in their left foot than Rick could ever imagine to have in his whole being, if you respect golf, he’s not a golfer, he’s a charlatan, he’s never ever ever been good enough to do even the smallest of things in golf, but thats ok, Rick knows this more than anybody else, that’s why he took the career path and smashed it and hopefully will keep smashing it, me personally I honestly hope he makes so many millions he can’t even count, what I do have an issue with is tho don’t ever ever say he’s a golfer, a proper golfer, cos proper golfers know what a proper golfer looks like and Rick Isent one of them. Not played for years but I know I’d get off the couch and beat Rick tmrw. He’s a gentleman and does so much for charity and so he should, id hammer this guy he ain’t got 1/5 of the talent
