Miraculous singing considering her age. But come on. By itself it's not great at all. It's sloppy and dodgy in many parts. The final note out of tune. It is not shit. That's not what I say. But it's not very good either. Its fantastic for her age. And I think she still could sing beautifully. But just not the high coloratura stuff. This really isn't fantastic at all. Some more lyrical and relaxed stuff. And not as high. I wonder why she kept to do this so long. It's very exhausting and demanding for her. Visibly. Is it her hardcore fanatic core of fans that keep asking for it? I still would pay money to hear her sing. But please. Other stuff. Lieder, Bach, lyrical things. I am not up to date if she has retired by now or still does sing.

She was 70 years old, for me is an extraordinary rendition of the Act4 Finale of Lucia... No matter of some quite obvious imperfection due to the age, but what a marvellous scene to watch madame Gruberova singing.
