I really appreciate that you release edited versions of your live videos. These days I just don’t have the patience to sit through hour + releases. I like being able to see the cards and techniques you employed in your lives. Later on when my brain settles back down I might go back and watch a longer video so I can learn the technique.

This tree reminds me of the decorated trees in the Charlie Brown Christmas special - they almost look metallic. I love it!

The dot cards really are awesome. I bought a bunch of them last year (or early this year?) because I don't do watercolour very often so full pans aren't worth it for me. This way I have loads of colour options at a much lower price point. They are BEAUTIFUL!!

before they came out with black watercolor paper, i purchased something called watercolor ground it comes in black. it is like a primer for your paper similar to gesso. and like i said it comes in black and is meant for painting watercolors on it. it would work well for this.

If you run your tape over your trousers, skirt,blouse until you have fluffed it a bit, it will still stick on your paper but should not rip..

I don’t have the patience to paint the greeting, so I would use gold or silver embossing powder and a gold or silver embossing ink (I still have Color Box.)

Kristina, try the black water colour paper by VanGogh, it isn't nearly as soft as the one you are usually using and therefore doesn't tear as easy.

Have you tried black watercolour ground? I haven’t tried it myself but friends who have say it’s very good. It’s designed to make any surface watercolourable but would work well as a background colour as well.

Did you wet the paper before painting? How much water did you add to make paint flow?
