Edith (Jean Stapleton) forgets she has purchased some lottery tickets. What are the chances she could win the top prize?
From Season 3, Episode 12 'Edith's Winning Ticket': Archie inquires Edith about four lottery tickets, purchased several months prior, that she had forgotten about. Upon finding out one is a winner, Archie shows a sudden interest in keeping them, despite Edith insisting the tickets actually belong to Louise Jefferson. Archie, reminding Edith she paid for the tickets with her own money, says otherwise.

I did notice it too. It is in the part of the picture that would have been over scanned (out of the viewable area) on an period correct CRT TV. They typically had about 5% and sometimes up to 10% of the picture over scanned.

Edith picked it up for Louise Jefferson when she went to the store, but she used her own money and Louise was supposed to pay her back, but Edith had forgotten all about it. Technically. the ticket did belong to Edith, but Edith said she would have never bought the ticket had Louise not asked her too. LOL
