There is a process of learning that is based off of language acquisition, which is an example of how quickly our brains learn if we do the process right. Considering this learning process (arguably the more natural process) seeing someone perform the skill (in this case photo editing) WITHOUT much explaining or talking is so so so so important. It's crazy how hard that is to find these types of video on KZbin. Love that you made this in this fashion.

I agree with you, Loren, and entering this new passion I have found the slowness of learning that sometimes comes with the aging mentality, that visual learning greatly helps! Thank you!

That's such a great comment! Love how your brain works and how deeply you see these things. As I think myself, often my learning experiences do seem to come through watching execution and the skill simply being performed. Of course a time and place for both, but watching something be done in real time gives a different level of discovery and application from the viewer. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, you have a good way of wording concepts!

To advance in my passion, I can see this being a necessary tool. How do you feel about the iPad Pro? Thank you!
@jeremyneippcreative3 жыл бұрын
I love the iPad Pro! To be honest, I undoubtably think that a computer is way more necessary to what I do than an iPad, but considering videography is my full-time, on the go, an iPad is just as good as a laptop to me and that's really where I use it. In terms of photo editing it is also more fun on an iPad for some reason, graphic design is undoubtably way easier on an iPad as well. (That's where I designed my new hawk-eagle logo). In regards to an everyday user who this isn't their profession however, I would probably recommend going for the iPad Air instead of Pro... you save half the price and it's very nearly just as capable.

@@jeremyneippcreative , thank you for the very considerate explanation of the equipment. I can see where the Pro may extend my needs(and budget) for what I need as a beginning videographer, and photographer. Thank you very much, and I hope this year exceeds all of your expectations!
