Would you like to do a 2024 revisit for panasonic S1R used? By the way not many people have mentioned pixel for pixel 4K video with 2.2x crop factor.

240 dollars is too much for a flashlight! The challange of portabilty of lights in photography and videography is that we can't use such small harsh light.

Got one used with battery grip, extra battery + cfcard for 1500 USD, about 6k exposures only. This beast is hugely underpriced second hand, its nuts

Coupled with the best glass, such as top Leica, and in the HD mode, its the best camera in the world for resolution!

Has Lumix fixed the atrocious low light lag on the screen and evf? I love my S5, but using it for Astro or holy grail time lapses; l feel like throwing over a cliff. It takes up to 45 seconds for a change to refresh at night. So frustrating. I know we have to turn the constant preview off, but why should l have to do this? The S5 needs more processing power.

Great video, really enjoyed the production and audio quality! One piece of advice, it would be great to say the exact measurements of pockets. I always appreciate knowing my stuff will fit and manufacturers stated specs can be a little misleading sometimes.

Great video bro! I just got the 18L Onego. I am having to return is because I can't pull out my S5 with my 24-70 when it's sitting Horizontal from the side pocket. I am debating between this or the 30L Peak Design.

Disagree about autofocus. *It is very decent.* Most issue with autofocus is a user. There are plenty setting and adjustments, depends on lens etc. But in general for photo I didn’t have any issues ever. 95/100 photos with razor sharp images it’s damn amazing rate. Most people could be complain about video continuous autofocus, but “unfortunately” it is not bad as well......and most video wave of disinformation came from early 3 years old reviews with the first firmware. (And even the it was not bad at all)

It’s not just XQD but CF Express slot, latest and greatest. Overall if I need to buy a new camera in 2022 it will be the same S1R, absolutely fantastic camera in any aspect.

I am planning to soon give up on video production as it's getting to hard for me to do. So I aim to sell my gear and get the S1R and match it with my current S5 then I plan to stick to doing photography for a hobby. So can't wait to get my hand on the 47 megapixel sensor🙂

I used a head one to rotate my products and added a vertical rotation post and it worked wonders for that air rotation, just add some key framing and you can either create a drop or zoom in

I would have liked to buy the S1R, but my photography days would have ended if l had....my wife would have killed me lol. I settled for the S5 with the Sigma 14 - 24 instead. I also ordered the new Sigma 150-600 dg dn os. I really like the compactness and features of the S5, but those extra mega pixels would have been nice. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your videos.

Now there is a new Firmware update 1.9. But, I want V-LOG to make it easier when I need just one more video camera to match all the other Lumix GH-5, G-9, S5 and even Log I use on my Z-cam E2.

Great info, thanks. The S1r screen was a weakness for me... The fully articulating GH5 design was super for all purposes. Doing loads of adventure filming I need that flexibility. But the GH5 stills don't cut the mustard... I just want one perfect camera! Wouldn't it be nice when/if we can order custom cameras with all the features we need for what we do?

The firmware update for filming 5k 30p has been something I've used more of recently, it truly is an amazing device

would love to see your thoughts on using vertical mode...also would like to see how easy it is when actually shooting to go from regular mode to briefcase back to regular to vertical back to regular....I know that seems odd but those are the shots most people will be doing day in and day out
