Thank you so much for all the NX studio videos! I just got a Nikon P1000 and I am learning so much from your videos. The 220 page manual that came with the camera had no instructions for using NX studio. You are a wonderful teacher!

The problem with NX Studio is really its slowness. When you want to do a before and after, I get a blackout, so subtle changes are difficult to notice, and it increases the risk to overdo the image

Yes, NX Studio is a bit slow, but considering that it's a free RAW photo editing software most people accept this. It is annoying I have to admit that though.

@CharlesNPhotography I agree, for being free, it is not bad. Still, I miss the old version of Lightroom: simple and sufficiently powerful versus most AI powered programs now are too complicated for people like me who only need a few changes. Why did Adobe remove Lightroom 6 from the market? It was perfect for amateurs, while professionals and those who like computing could move forward with all the AI stuff (in the past called "auto"). Adobe should only have included new models of camera's and lenses without further updates, except for the subscription. Lightroom is even simpler than Elements such as in perspective correction that has an auto (in today's words, AI) in Lightroom while not in my (older) version of Elements 18. I'm now trying On1 and Luminar, but I don't get what I want such as remove in an easy way an out of focus branch. And I don't want to replace skies with something that wasn't there when I was there, that is fine for professionals who don't want to document their stories but instead want to show their own perfect story.

How do I get the control panel on the right to come up?
@CharlesNPhotography3 жыл бұрын
I don't understand what you mean, the control panel on the right is always there.
