M 40 your using real life logic for Star Wars . The dark side changes your personality hence why vader and anakin are basically different people In the same body.if he wasn’t twisted by a mystical force then he could not be redeemed but he could basically plead insanity , no control over actions

Some notes because I still can't stop thinking about it. 🤯 (btw the timestamps are regarding in this video) 3:37-4:07 this arrangement of clips where everyone is uncertain/distrusts Anakin IS SO WELL DONE. PLUS the VOICEOVERS! 👌🏻 4:35-5:02 this sequences of scenes killed me. Holy hell! Showing Padma's reactions was soooo good and the clips of her funeral ceremony and Vader's right after was such a brilliant move, because it's a scene of mourning for both characters and also a rebirth for Anakin's transitioning to Darth Vader. I won't even get into the second part of the video because it was just a masterpiece itself. This video altogether was breathtaking.

If you think about it, Anakin DID bring balance to the Force. Where once there were many Jedi, eventually, there were only two (Yoda and Obi-wan). Then Luke came, and Obi-Wan was gone in the same movie, once again leaving only two. Just like the Sith (Palpatine and Vader).

The old republic trailers are absolute masterpieces of film. Its best to watch them in chronological order so you can get the story it tells without actually having to play the game. I dont think theres a single person who hasnt enjoyed them.

This is one of Illias best pieces along with The Joker and Batman Trilogy. These 3 are so good in fact they make his other work not that good. His editing skills and finding Samuel Kim's version of the spin of the Vader theme was brilliant. Props to both of them, they really understand Pain and can illustrate it visually. It's just sad. Not to diss obi, but if qui gon had trained anakin, I think things would have gone differently. He didn't always agree with the jedi. He trusted in the force and let it guide him. Although I will say he did fulfill the prophecy. He wiped out the jedi but then eventually routed the sith therefore ending that era.

Sadly, there are TWO stories of Vader. The first one being cooler and far more interesting, the 2nd one being redundant and "old hat". It's a shame .
