White Lies (UK) represent the top of Indie. They still make great albums u can listen as whole. Hate how now lots of popular bands, just go with singles... With Editors some songs i found same joy as many years ago when heard White Lies: Bigger than us!

It's amazing how this music video represents life. The tunnel in the beginning representing a baby being born, then you meet the first two persons of your life (your parents), then you get the rest of your family around you, and at somepoint your friends. And you live with all of them around you for a while. As the time passes by, these people will eventually die, and you'll meet your fate too, but alone.

For anyone who wonders what a sleep twitch is. When you are falling asleep sometimes your legs make involuntary movements. Mostly a kicking motion that comes without notice.

Make our escape, you're my own Papillon. (00:15) The world turns too fast, feel love before it's gone. It kicks like a sleep twitch! My papillon, feel love when it shone. It kicks like a sleep twitch! Darling, just don't put down your guns yet. (01:16) If there really was a God here, He'd have raised a hand by now. Now darling, you're born, get old and die here. Well, that's quite enough for me. We'll find our own way home somehow. No sense of doubt of what you could achieve. (02:02) Well, I've found you out, I've seen the life you wish to leave, But when it kicks like a sleep twitch, You will choke, choke on the air you try to breathe. It kicks like a sleep twitch! Darling, now just don't put down your guns yet. (02:48) If there really was a God here, He'd have raised a hand by now. Darling, well, you're born, get old and die here. Well, that's quite enough for me, dear. We'll find our own way home somehow. It kicks like a sleep twitch! It kicks like a sleep twitch!

I grew up listening to my older sisters British Invasion tunes. Depeche Mode was my favorite band due to the poetic, bittersweet, somewhat dark, yet absolutely romantic songs. I found the Editor's and OMG, they took over the #1 favorite band spot in my heart, they hit the spot I've been trying to fill my entire life.
