I also live in Fresno. I am a beginner in fishing. I bought a lot of fishing related things, but I have never caught any fish. I hope to explore the fishing experience with you. If we have time, we can go fishing in the nearby lake together.

I just bought the kayak you use (k2 pro but a two seater) for bass lake. Think the lake is calm enough around this time? Was planning to anchor too like 40-50 feet off the shore to have lunch and two kayaks tied side by side. Total beginner with a little boating skills. BTW your videos are awesome. Calm and just reeling in fish. Take care.

Awesome! Just to let you know when you pump air into the kayak try not to over-inflate it, otherwise the seams will pop. I over-inflated my previous kayak & it popped on me in the middle of the lake. This lake is calm most of the time but is usually very busy during the summer time because of all the boaters running around. I would recommend you go early., and not ride the kayak during the busy afternoon when all the boaters are out & about. It will be hard riding your kayak & trying to balance it with all the splashing waves from the boats. Plus, some boaters are just careless so be careful. I also own a boat and have a California boater card, but sometimes I like to take this kayak out. When I take this kayak out, I feel like I'm really out there enjoying the nature. Just across from the dam. If you watched the beginning of video, that's how I got to this spot.
