Free advice, probably worth just what it's costing you: 1. Set up all the magnets with the same polarity, i.e. north to the rope side, south down or vice versa. Then they can't stick face to face. 2. Use the ladder to push the ropes out away from the wall. Then pull them up over the ladder while someone sits on the other end. 3. Put some sort of lanyard on the go-pro. You lose way too many of them.
