In my opinion the reason why classical music has survived and people who have actively enjoyed it for centuries is the same reason why I believe (most) dubstep has the potential to do the same is because they (mostly) lack words which tie them down to a specific generation, language, and nationality. Words are the worst thing to happen to music ever. They can be a good method of convieing a story or moral but that's why we invented books, art, articles, vlogs, blogs, and other such things. Music is meant to be an arrangement of sounds that please our ears and mind not a story that makes us think or ties us to it emotionally. Music's beauty should be derived from its simplicity. And as such to me this song was a more profound example of music than most any "song" being produced today. And for this and every other great wordless masterpiece of REAL music which has been posted on this channel and many like it I thank all dubstep artists and those that promote them for keeping the true meaning of music alive.

I like that theorie ! Never thought about it in that kind of way, but I think it's a bit flawed. Classical music isn't just instrumental if I recall correctly. Mozart, beethoven and co. also created operas which are still listed to today. And there are vocals in a opera. I think that vocals are, like melody, essential for "good" music, but don't get me wrong, you also need good instrumental music of course.

When i first listened to this song, it was back in Highschool. Now i'm a data scientist, suddenly have the urge to listen to some old edm stuffs. Idk if this is the nostalgia kicks in but... it sounds much better than it used to be. Something back when i still messed around with goofy friends... I have strived so much that i lost almost all hobbies or likes i used to do, back when i used to have personality. Now just a shell full of knowledge like a book but without any personalities or soul. I'm sad somehow... i make good enough for a living to not worry about money but i worry about something else... I'm missing the happiness, the fulfillment back when i was with my friends studied/playing games... Maybe i'm just a bit tired haha. Adult's world is too stressful. I want the joyful and no worries time back... Back when listening to EDM while playing games with friends, playing league. Now i couldn't play competitive games anymore, my hands shake too much from the prolong chronic stress. I'm 27 but felt like 50... Oh well, good song.
