He would be the puck moving defenseman that is a right shot also that you can put with Nurse. I don't like his -40 career +/- but its always that risk reward kind of defenseman that you get with offensive defensemen.

I would rather a young, unproven talent come up over a recovering from injury, later in his career spot filler that might get injured if a gust of wind hits him right. The Oilers need to stay away from these reclamation projects and actually look at talent. Let the Leafs sign this one.

What I think? I think who gives a literal shit if he’s under 1.125 on the cap. If it doesn’t work? (Which I’d guarantee he’s better than brown even with a resurfaced hip) then waive him or give him to one of the other 6 teams interested. It’s a zero risk deal if it’s league minimum. So why the hell not? Tremendous “upside”
