I appreciate the admiration but he’s currently ranked well outside the 1st round by many analysts, certainly not 1st overall…. I would try to avoid over exaggerating

Thanks for the feedback, I totally agree with you! There are statistically many other players in the WHL that outperform Nathan Behm. But, I would have to counter-argue that, unlike the other top WHL players, he acts like a McDavid. He's got the scoring potential, and the power to try and assist to his teammates. I think he has major potential as other players that are better can turn out to be worse in the NHL. Take Pasternak for example, one of the lower draft picks turns out the be the major key part for the Boston Bruins. I think Behm can fit into this sort of area.

I think you should actually go do some research on what mcdavid had done before he got drafted to the nhl, trying to compare mediocre or decent players to mcdavid is just an insult to mcdavid tbh

I have, but the overwhelming talent looks McDavid-esque, sure McDavid was a generational player, but if we're looking at the next new prospects, Behm looks like one of the best

Good point, but is we are saying the best prospect currently, I think Behm would be near the top of the list. It is a dramatic overstatement, but Behm can grow and develop into a stronger player, after all, McDavid is 27 while Behm is a whole decade younger than him at only 17
