An Isaac board game prolly wouldn't even have been all that different from the card game, just more bloated. Eschewing the element of moving pieces around on a board and just focusing on the purity of random encounters and events removes so much clutter from the game.

It's not a scam, there was a lot of people buying the game and there were lots of problems during the production process, you should contact Studio71 games to check if they can help you (i got my game and it's pretty great)
