Nigeria needs to do just one thing to become a very prosperous and thriving country. That is, they must have a very credible electoral process that has zero corruption. Then they can select who they really think can lead them and also be ready to remove them if they don't perform. That is the only thing they can do, which will then lead to reforms addressing corruption. But the first and only priority is their electoral process. Take Edo State for example: The INEC-selected governor did not even campaign or engage with the Edo people, but allegedly went straight to the umpire and bought the election. It is evidently clear that he didn't win the election. It is now left for the judiciary to maintain their integrity and do the right thing. They should also prosecute the perpetrators.
