The Devil looks like a butterfly! Of all his antique decks, Patrick did his best job with this one. The lines ate much crisper. Very pretty cards.

I agree! This is my favorite of his publications. I'm so glad he started printing some historic decks. This is in my top 10 decks for sure! Thank you for watching! ~ Marilyn

Loved this video, Marylin! While I'm fascinated by Deviant Moon Tarot, Patrick's Trionfi Della Luna has captured my attention and has become an amazing and fun reader for me...so much so that I have 3 versions of it! Trionfi della Luna surprised me, as before I never imagined how much I would love it! (he had me at his Devil, Tower, Star Card variations)! Dotti that you are showing here, my friend, I'm DROOLING! The colours are so very beautiful and the lines look very sharp too! Thank you so much for sharing! xx

Hi Mascha! I am delighted with this Doddi deck! The original must be in fine condition. It's beautiful. Valenza has been doing more than asylum type decks, and I wanted to make sure folks knew it. This Doddi will slip into my workhorse box! Thank you for watching and commenting, it's nice to hear from you Mascha. xoxo ~ Marilyn

Oh goodness, so gorgeous, thank you Marilyn. La Force looks quite maniacal! I'm trying to resist but these are very tempting.

Right?! I lingered on the Force Card because I was checking it out. It's a real nice, petite size, and the colors are beautiful! It reminds me of the Trieste (Angelo Valla). I have wanted a Doddi and I saw this and decided to do an advanced order. It was worth the wait. Thank you for watching and commenting Sorcha. ~ Marilyn

Marylyn, it is beautiful! I think I must have it. And the last one of your backround grouping looks very interesting to me, as well. Now, if someone could convince him to do a four Moors deck.......😊
@MarilynFromTarotClarity Жыл бұрын
The 4 Moors was the way Bologna solved their political dilemma regarding cards 2 through 5 around either 1725. Aftet 1755 they began double ended cards. So look up decks from Bologna between those dates and you'll find the 4 Moors. There aren't many. ~ Marilyn

My oh my! Thank you for sharing the splendour this deck shows us. At first the colours remind me of Tarot Classic (A G Muller/Stuart R Kaplan). I love the colours of that deck. So I paused, got my copy and did a walk through as you spoke. I realised that there is actually no comparison as they are both beautiful in their own ways. Yet I think your presentation has made me fall so in love with this, I'm swooning! Genuinely I can say Marilyn this one will be the one more I have to have, maybe not today or tomorrow but at some point. Wow! Brightest of blessings to you 🙏💜🙏

Hi Claire :) It's nice to hear from you! I think the Tarot Classic is more similar to the Gassmann. I believe Mr Valenza only printed 500 of these decks, to give you a heads up on that. It's definitely a purchase I'm happy with and it has joined my workhorse box. Thank you for watching and commenting. xoxo ~ Marilyn

@@MarilynFromTarotClarity as a workhorse deck, I wish you and this deck an exciting path together. As you spoke, it definitely came across with an energy the felt connected to your style. I really hope to be in that 500 somewhere. And thank you for sharing about tarot classic. I have done a little bit of reading and see the similarities. It is good to learn new information. I am grateful for your help 🙏💜🙏

You are insightful I tellogemt thoughtful careful extremely well spoken and the most I interesting tarot person on youtube. I think you do a fantastic job of providing content. @@shelbygivens1648 Thank you. I've had to step back a little because my husband has been sick and it's taken the winds out of my sails a little bit. But today's my birthday 🎂 and I think today I'll do a video as a present to myself. Your very nice words have made my day. Thank you! ~ Marilyn

@@MarilynFromTarotClarity happy birthday!!!! Oh I hope.you have a great day today!!!!! It's hard isn't it?? When husbands are sick?! Mine was hurt at work and paralyzed for 6 months. As soon as he could walk again he started coughing blood and then was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Living in cleveland clinic hospotal for a year and a half and 17 rounds of chemo later, he is back to a functioning person although he'll never be the same. It was really rough. It added 10 years and 50 pounds to me !!! I truly hope your husband gets better and you can have more time and happiness back into your life

Thank you Marilyn! It’s interesting how different this version is compared to the one from Giordano Berti. Not just the production but the way that some cards are configured.

I don't have Giordano's version, but I'm sure it's gorgeous. I know this one is a facsimile copy, photographed from a deck Patrick Valenza owns. Thank you for watching and commenting. ~ Marilyn

Interesting that XIII is called "uguaglianza" - equality. No matter your station, we all equal in the end. And thank you so much for sparing us the cringe of watching someone hack at a deck with a knife.

Lol, I know what you mean about the opening of a deck. If I think I can open a deck quickly I'll keep filming for continuity sake, but if it's too challenging I prefer to do it offline. Thank you for being here and watching and commenting. ~ Marilyn
