Education and The Gospel | Liz Gitonga | Chalk Conference

If the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, then Christians must take over the education of masses. Our forefathers used schools and education as platforms for the Gospel. We will see how strategic the teaching profession is in the propagation of the gospel and the formation of the minds and lives of students. We will appreciate history, current practices and how the future might look for African schools and the participation of the teacher in this task.

Chalk conference is organized by Timazi Africa, a ministry committed to teach High school students in Africa to know their faith, love it, live it and defend it. We have a two-prong strategy: Timazi Magazine published every school term, and the Teacher Formation Program dubbed - Mwalimu Bora, of which Chalk Conference is the beginning.
