the sensor + tech should also give you better ISO, or was that only on the old CCD chips ?'

nice studio, what are the lenses on the table, next to and on the camera?, would be nice if you discussed them, and not the inside tech of the body/ backs all the time. Ask her what lens she uses, why, does she use one lens mainly, or a wide and telephoto?

BÍĞ ŢÕÝŚ çâřş I love the H6D but sadly it’s not even in the same league as the IQ4. It doesn’t even feature focus stacking and no electronic shutter. Hands down the future it PHASE ONE

@@ImpartiallySpeaking No true, the h6D-100c does have electronic shutter. I used one until a few weeks ago and now use an IQ3-100 Trichromatic. Both cameras have plus and minus even if I prefer the Phaseone overall. The H6D-100c has IMHO a more functional UI for basic shooting, the physical UI of the body gives faster access to some key functions, such as MLU or exposure compensation. The P1 has many advantages obviously (more effective focus and recompose on some lenses, autoISO/autoWB, many advantes functions such as focus stacking, C1 Pro native support,...), but it's not completely black & white.

Why not add the feature of writing to card and computer simultaneously to the XF IQ3 via firmware update. It's needed and I seriously doubt this will affect IQ4 sales and upgrades. We'll upgrade because we want the higher resolution, regardless!

A huge leap forward although the boot time of the IQ4 looks to be slower than the IQ3. Where time is money it would be nice to see the processing speed of the IQ4 being improved to match that of the less expensive IQ3. With emphasis on the XF becoming the ultimate modular system it would also be nice to see a range of tilt and shift lenses being introduced for architecture where most of us would prefer not to drop a further 30k associated with having to purchase an ALPA with Rodenstock lenses where currently there’s only one T&S Schneider available which isn’t appropriate for shooting architecture.

nice that these cameras have a "picture profile" in them too, like their 35 mm dslr cousins, and you call them by a logical name, like portrait, landscape.- gives us coming from the dslr world a common ground to start from, and something familiar to us.
