honestly the biggest takeaway i can get from this is the optimal combos are somewhat situational and the advice regarding doing the web > uppercut > stick > wait 2 seconds > e > uppercut feels like the most consistent thing to go for most of the time with the escape tools the characters have i love the rest of the guide too, makes it feel like that theres a proper structure to playing spidey hope you make more like this!!!

Its great to see detailed guides. One word of advice would be that it would be a good idea to show the inputs as text or something. Rewinding it isnt very convenient.

I've been saying it since I started playing, Jeff's swim needs to be nerfed: cooldown on it, buffer before he starts healing, heal him less per second, NOT BEING ABLE TO USE IT MIDAIR, being pulled out of the ground by spiderman using maybe his pull move or that uppercut that launches _anyone else_ Any of those changes would be HUGE

How do you hook people in after the web tracer is on them?

in spidermans settings you can make his hook and his get over here ability 2 different keybinds if you watch like the first minute or 2 of my spiderman guide i show off how to do it

How is hulk in ok tier? I thought he would be bad because he's an excellent peeler. He can semi match your mobility when you dive squishies and folow up by shielding them + stunning you.

i lowkey forgot he had the shield ability but i only have tanks on that list based on how easy it is to farm ult charge on them

@@rott4a i think if i were to tier the tanks again except in the context of how difficult their presence would make it for spiderman to do his job would be: Good: groot, venom, captain america, thor and dr strange. None of these characters can really peel effectively against spidey nor can they pressure him due to limited mobility. Bad: Hulk and magneto due to bubble shields and CC that can completely shut down your dive and worse kill you. Switch: penny due to spider nest + cc (its esp unplayable if enemies know how to play using her nest). Just my personal take.

I've always heard flying characters like Iron Man and Storm are easy for Spiderman, but when they're at full health and you do your basic combo, they still have life left... then they get healed up or you have to try to finish them off before that, by sniping them off with web clusters as they're attacking you... I always see other Spiderman players somehow do enough damage to instantly kill flyers, but without symbiote, how?

lmfaoooo its comes with time trust id recommend watching some necors gameplay and seeing how he takes fights and spending some time in the range learning all the combos and stuff like that

yarr the main thing is knowing combos, using the right ones at the right time then after that you can make dives and stuff with a planned combo and then GET OUT Your black widow hit a headshot? yeah swing in and punch them once, swing out They're isolated? oh yeah, hit them with the full zipkick, plink overhead, uppercut They have a movement option to get out? save the zipkick to chase them down after they burn it They're a tank? would be unwise to dive them They're a support duo pocketing each other? unless you're really good and dodge their cooldowns AND burst a support like CRAZY you generally shouldn't it all depends, and you have to know your combos AND know how confident you are with pulling them off

i dont think the long plink is actually viable in a real match, its too slow and requires too much precise input, just from my expierence tho

When people say "farm ult" is that just using your uppercut and just like doing damage to them in general? Or is there a specific thing you should do to farm your ult?

farming ult is really just doing any dmg you can either uppercut and punch them a few times or whatever you want to do but i recommend using the fame loop i showed in the combos part of the video specifically on tanks to get ult charge

It's a setting you can bind pull and get over here targeting to be separate buttons I have my chase set to mouse 4 and my pull to be E

Is web swing > jump > punch better than jump > web swing > punch for the plink combo?

its all personal preference but id say web swing jump then punch as its more consistent then jumping first atleast for me

It doesn't matter too much I've tried before or after and there's not a meaningful difference ALTHOUGH if you jump too early, you'll land before you can get the overhead out, and then you'll just do the ole 1-2
