You can solve things in exercise mode in Donkey Kong Jr. Math. You have to go to the rope with the bird on the right, the bird will move and the box that was above it will start flashing. Then you can move up and down the rope to change the value and move over to the next rope to lock it in. The bird will keep moving to the next rope you need to go to after you have set a place value. Once you fill all the boxes in and if you got the answer right, the bird on the left will lay an egg that will land next to the round number. If you didn't get it right, things will rewind to the spot where you made your first mistake and once you get it right, the left bird will not lay an egg. Things seem to just freeze after 10 rounds, but you can press select to go to the main menu. Also, I got this game like 20 years ago at a swap meet when I first started to actively try to collect NES games (as opposed to trying to just find games that I would like). I build some pretty good rapport with the people at the stall that I bought games from. When i noticed this game, they told me that it was a pretty rare game and charged me like $50 for it. Looking at Price Charting now, the records don't go back 20 years, but I think the earliest price on there is like $11, so I definitely overpaid for it back in the day, haha. At least now the game now costs more than what I bought it for back then (including inflation).

A bit off topic but when you mention that the Sesame Street game was made by Rare it made me think about another rare Rare title, or at least I think It's very underrated, not well known and I never see anyone talk about it at all. Digger T. Rock. I haven't played it since I was a kid but it still stands out in my mind as a game that I really enjoyed. Also Mickey Mousecapades... That game is an incredibly frustrating platformer. I still got some enjoyment out of it.

I have to admit I played Mario's Time Machine on the SNES. As an adult. And I enjoyed it.... Anyway, there is a bootleg Super Mario World for the NES which covers up to the first castle, it was okay I guess despite lacking a ton of features of the original SNES version.

Collectors love to talk about how much they waste money on games as opposed to their wife or kids but that’s not a joke. Get your priorities straight. Those games might be fun to collect but 75 bucks on a game you’ll never play Is just a horrible financial choice. Collecting is just organized hoarding. Look up the definition for collection, one of the synonyms is indeed hoard. Sorry I’m a minimalist and only own like 60 things total (yes I count every one of possessions). Life is a lot more freeing without the junk. I’m so glad I got rid of my various collections like games, records, instruments, etc. We work our lives away to buy junk. It’s a horrible existence and that’s from experience. I could buy anything I wanted (practically) but none of it ever made me happy.
