Yeah, if it's a bad start just hold it in and see what happens. I literally just played a game where our bastion stared 0-3 with 250 dmg and I was about to flame him, then he turned it around and had the most dmg and kills. Idk why some people are so inconsistent like that but it happens.

Coming back to overwatch from console, now to pc and a year long break. Old role was tank but its just not as fun anymore. Went to torb because i main engineer in tf2 and engineer in deep rock galactic. If you dont know, both of them also have a turret. I learned from this guide to just plop my turret down. Yeah, its cool to know good spots but sometimes just ploppin it next to you is good. In tf2, engineer spends so many resources upgrading your turret, so a good spot is key. Especially since a soldier can throw 2 rockets and kill it. That mindset made me cherish my torb turrets but im just gonna start sittin them places midfight now

best bet is to place a turret covering your supports and then stay near your turret so if she tries to hack it you can shoot her which will interrupt the hack and then your turret will force her out

If you use render scales at anything besides custom 100, you should enable amd fsr in game. Modern gpu's have very efficient scalers (even better than scaling through monitor). The idea that keeping resolution scale at 100 introduces additional lag is a myth. If anything, historically it would introduce lag because either you need to do an additional rescaling step on the gpu or on the monitor's internal hardware. Using render scale 101 with amd fsr gives you the benefits of fsr sharpening with imperceptible additions to system latency. You can experiment with the sharpening levels to see if it can improve your visibility.
