I love your work… As always! Your work and attention to detail are always fun to watch….solo I’m sure you have the process figured out. But if ever you get in a difficult or confusing situation… There are always folks like myself (process engineer) who would happily make small suggestions I specialize in small scale but complex manufacturing and machining. Before process engineer, I started right after high school as a watchmakers apprentice for two years. Then realized I was more interested in machinists work. So I had several Jobs and then my own business doing machining and fabrication work. Both with manual and CNC. Then started a business doing component level circuit board repair for industrial and manufacturing equipment. Specializing in test equipment calibration/metrology. It’s what I still do to this day, with my own lab… If I’m not doing the engineering gig. Somewhere in the middle of all of that… I accidentally started a jewelry wholesale business with a family member. Lost wax casting, faceting, engraving…..And all that comes along with that. Designes are sold by the thousands or tens of thousands. All crafted by hand locally, with designs constantly changing. I learned to design the process efficiently. So that normally time-consuming and complex tasks would be efficient…. and most importantly… CONSISTENT. That’s how I fell in love with the art of process design & engineering. Went back to school, apparently they let you do that even if you’re old. 🤷‍♂️ It’s a lot of fun. it’s always great helping manufacturers solve problems. I feel like a big kid rearranging Lego blocks until I figure out what works best for A particular situation. It’s a constantly changing minefield of complex problems. It’s a lot of fun! So if you ever run into a tight spot… Find a local or online friend who is a process engineer and let them look over everything. A few small adjustments here and there… Can make a shop and manufacturing process 10 times more efficient and consistent. And consistency equals financial savings EVERY TIME! I live by the rule… Chaos is expensive.

Hi Hull, thanks for your explanation. I agree chaos is expensive. I studied product design and after that stopmotion. In both the project is crucial to make it happen. I do have little chaos in the workshop but it is not because of non planing it, it is more because we try to help people all the time instead of following what would make more sense and be more eficient. We are not here to make money, my goal is to make products or tools that helps others making their Dreams. So most time all we do is custom work, non repeatable, would love to have stations for every job... But. We do our best... Hope it gives you an over view, and thanks for giving us that point of view.

@edupuertasfruns
@edupuertasfruns 2 жыл бұрын
Gracias!!!

Thanks!!! I spend a lot of time chosing musics that match with the content, not always I do like them, but try to. About the hinges... they are replacements from glasses that I use when it is needed on a custom puppet armature.
