Eddie's passing has been very sad for all of us! 😢 The year was 1978, the debut album from this new band called Van Halen! With just that album, Eddie instantly became the newest "Guitar God".. indeed, he literally buried many of the legends of the day. Ed's playing was so advanced that he seriously bruised a few egos...such as Richie Blackmore. In 1978 out of nowhere, this little 23 year old snot-nose punk comes along and just buries the guitar heroes of the day!!

While watching this, it occurred to me that it has now been over 3 years since EVH's death. Time f***ing flies. The World lost one of the best f***ing guitarists back in October of 2020. A month before his passing, i had to have sudden, life or death, brain surgery,, so my memory, both short-term and long-term, is now permanently all jacked up, but somehow can remember, and have never forgotten, reading about that online on October 6, 2020 during my recovery. I also remember balling my eyes out, too, and thinking, "I don't cry!", amd mever did too much before that surgery. I was 41 years old at that time. After they messed with my brain though, and removed that cyst, i totally changed and became a crier. Lol. Enough rambling though.
