He’s so charismatic. I feel Edward Morra is such an under utilised character. He has so much more to offer. Sadly, we’ll never see a movie or a tv show involving him again.

@@AppellateOdin I watched the series recently. Did some research to find out when is season 2 coming. Apparently, the producer dropped this series long time ago.

It doesn’t even make any sense why Bradley Cooper only appeared for brief moments on this show, considering how much it was reported that he tried so hard to get the show renewed; not to mention that he was the executive producer of the show..

@@ChickenJoe12 You have a point. A couple of episodes midway through the series are just fillers. I would have stopped watching if it was any other series but the only thing that kept me going was curiosity of seeing more and more of Edward Morra (I had absolutely loved the Limitless movie). We never see enough of him in this series but the note on which it finishes, it’s almost certain he will have more limelight in season 2 (which would sadly never happen).

Chills. Imagine if Edward was real. A super good intelligent person with good intentions, incorruptible and thingking 50 steps ahead.

Morra was never good to begin with, unlike Brian. That was the central conflict they were setting up -- Morra is meant to be VERY morally gray in this show, the kind of guy who would commit genocide to save our species, while Brian would do anything not to harm a single person

@@PrestigeLearningNo. He's thinking ahead of everyone. In this scene he could already predict that brian will win. He's beyond other nzt users. He's been on nzt for so long that he's no longer human.

@@Astella-f2i My hypothesis is he has his own personalized stash of NZT that is far more potent then the current NZT that is shown. This is proven by the ending of the movie where it's stated that he modified the drug and is "no longer taking it" That is the logical option if i have my hands on such a drug.

I honestly wish that they would’ve kept this series going. I feel like Eddie was slowly turning into a anti-hero that would eventually become the villain of it all.
@tech-bore8839

It honestly sounds like he's already the villain. The way he dismisses Brian's concerns, even after learning an employee has gone rogue, seems like Eddie already saw these events coming. I'd go so far as to say Eddie is in full control, possibly even orchestrating his enemies' responses.

Aww, nice. I never watched this show, but I loved the movie Limitless. My complaint with the movie had always been "Eddie has a 4-digit IQ, and could literally rock the pillars of reality, yet he decides to run for president? That's so disappointing". Then I started imagining that becoming president was just Stage 1 and maybe Eddie realised that in order to truly change the world, he'd need to change some laws and to do that, he needs to be president. This scene just confirms it. That's a beautiful thing to consider, when he says "I'm thinking so far beyond the presidency right now, that you can't even imagine". I'd just hope he's still a good person - which I, of course, don't know, because I've never seen this show. His manner seems pretty off though. Like psychopath off. Like Ozymandias in the Watchmen level of psychopathy. But then maybe that's just what happens when you're that smart. It's difficult to engage socially like a normal human. I'm assuming this was a direction given to Bradley as an actor and not just something Bradley decided to do himself - though I think Bradley Cooper is a fucking excellent and very underrated actor, so I'd entirely believe that this performance could be all entirely his doing.

I think once you’re that disciplined and you’re always the smartest person in the room, you disregard anything and everyone else to achieve your goals and that’s why Eddie Morra comes across like he does. Whether that makes him a psychopath or not is subjective, some would say he just has extreme ambition towards his goals but others would say he lacks empathy towards those around him. Keep in mind his end goal is to “build a new world” and solve the global hunger crisis like he says, which goes against having a lack of empathy. It’s interesting to think about though.
@childofthesun32
@childofthesun32 Жыл бұрын
@@Peff2001 Yeah, I don't think he's a psychopath, I think it'll just look that way. I'm sure psychopaths think they're towering intellects, but they're not really. Where as Eddie really is a towering intellect, beyond anyone else. So he's justified in being a little weird and lacking in social norms.

@@Ormusn2o Yeah, I feel this way about Future Music in movies set in the distant future. Listening to how music was hundreds of years ago, to how it was in the 50s to the changes it went through in the 60s, 70s and 80s to today.... I'm always disappointed by the horrible syncopated Star Wars jazz of modern movies' ideas of what music will be like in the future.

@@childofthesun32 Jazz is for the lazy minded or those who like to “chill” which really means to eat, drink, fuck, crap, and sleep. Utter stagnation at a level of development and moving into the grave of failed life forms. Think of music that still energizes and inspires that has been around for over a 100 years. That is the music for the mind and higher development.

I feel like sands lied to morra and framed piper and morra. Made them hate eachother. I feel like everything morra says is the truth. He doesn't seem to lie, but sands does. Everything bad is just because sands has his own agenda. Morra probably trusted sands and he betrayed him. Sands was probably taking nzt for quite some time.

I think he’s thinking so far beyond everyone else that no matter what happens to him or around him, it just won’t affect him because he’s above it all.
