This is the complete story (every scene) of Edward Nygma (Corey Michael Smith) and Kristen Kringle (Chelsea Spack) from the TV series Gotham, season one.
I do not own these characters and am not affiliated with the show Gotham or the FOX network in any way. This is just a fan video of these two characters' story for your and my enjoyment. Thanks for viewing!

He's the kind of character that I can relate to because I'm kind of the same way: I'm born a Scorpio and a Wood Dog (Chinese Zodiac), so I can be tough and sweet with a vengeful side. I have Aspergers Syndrome (High-Functioning Autism) so I tend to become obsessed on certain things, (some of my interests I get excited about people have found weird or creepy), but because of that and having a wide range of different tastes, I'm very knowledgeable about lots of things, have excellent memory and great observation for even the tiniest details... but I have some difficulty when it comes to talking to people, like social cues and when someone wants to end a conversation. And because of all that, I've had trouble making friends and people end up getting annoyed with me and sometimes yell at me, which hurts my feelings and makes me hate myself for being the way I am. But being a Scorpio and a Dog, when it comes to people I care about, my love and loyalty to them is like that of a dog's. So it's one thing to mess with me, but if someone messes with someone I care about... they're gonna pay. But sometimes I get angry when people make fun of me or don't listen to me when I'm trying to give them advice that turns out to be the best for them or tell them what really happened or what someone really said until I prove it to them. That drives me nuts because it's like they're questioning my intelligence, like they think I'm really stupid, that I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm a dark blonde; I know I have my dumb blonde moments from time to time, but I'm not THAT stupid. So I think if The Riddler were a real person, I might not be able to answer all of his riddles correctly, but I think he would allow me to live, since we seem to have a lot in common and can relate to each other. I think he and I would get along very well. Ironically, the guy that plays him in this series is a Scorpio, too. And his birthday is only 7 or 8 days away from mine! And he's only 8 years older than me! And he's a Tiger like my dad!

No, the killing was the first time that he he didn't feel like a victim. He felt empowered. I don't think there was joy in it, there's a lot going on, but not joy. He didn't turn villain until after he became friends with the penguin. At this point, he could have made a recovery, because it was a morally gray act.

While Daugherty is the one who really is a 'weird creep'. What if Nygma dies (if unarmed and helpless) as a nobody rather than live to see himself as a nightmare? Imagine Dougherty being the one who became the Riddler for much more different reason: he's a non-Disney non-musical equivalent of both Gaston from "Beauty & The Beast" and Frollo from "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame" because he's a lazy greedy selfish unethical careless heartless braggart who does nothing good for the city and is so one-track minded that he answers '4' or '9' when being asked '3 + 2' and yet he is more likable and well-respected to the eyes of his co-workers than Nygma, especially to the eyes of Kristen Kringle (who is an live-action non-superpowered adult equivalent of Buttercup in the PPG episode called "Buttercrush") and except to those of Dr. Lee Thompskins (whom he later gone 'Notice me, senpai?' on in season 4), and nobody would take credit of every single thing he does even before he became the Riddler. He was never satisfied, however, he had grown very bored with a police work, although the only fun part of being a cop is accepting bribes from crooks and picking on the weak/innocent for amusement like any dirty cop would and when not 'working' he went spending money on booze and hookers/strippers randomly. He willingly quits being cop and sought opportunity to kill Nygma--though he didn't end up having a split-personality and didn't show any sigh of regret/remorse like Nygma---and stole his riddle-book so he uses it to do whatever he want and bullies whomever he wants, he doesn't care about the riddles being answered correctly or puzzles being solved as long as he always wins by cheating and enjoying watching his victims gruesomely injured/killed, it doesn't matter to him if those who attacked him first or those he barely knows at all when they just perish in his wake/path. He never friends with Oswald Cobblepot nor Barbra Keen, but he willingly join forces with Hugo Strange twice and in season 5 he willingly commits horrible atrocities terrorizing/destroying Gotham side by side with Bane. He also became sexually obsessed with a teenage girl named Selina Kyle throughout the entire show. My point is that the show would have been well-written if the Riddler is a full-fledged hate-sink and complete monster and one might being Tom Dougherty instead of the usual one being Edward Nygma.

I didn't expect it, but I'm actually pleased how this show rewrote The Riddler's origin story. Previously I used the Batman TAS "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?" episode as my Main Cannon, but... this has caught me surprisingly strongly, and I actually kinda like the whole psychological aspects to this. If he just had someone who cared about him, he would never have gone down this path. That's a very powerful frame of mind for a simple comic show to generate.

Well, if Nygma didn't armed himself with a knife in the first place, Dougherty would have brutally murders him by stabbing him in both chest and the face with a thick-glass bottle...from which Dougherty was drinking a wisky/rum and so broke it's bottom half to turn it into a sharp jagged stabbing weapon.

Well, he's an old-school villain when Batman faces him off. When Bruce was a kid he started committing crimes, but then retired. Then when he hears of Batman he comes back. It makes sense for him to be in his mid 20s or early 30s.

You know rewatching this now and awaiting for 3x07 I'm kind of getting the sense that history is gonna try to repeat itself. Edward was in love with Kristen who was dating Tom and Ed ended up killing Tom to protect her and be with her then ended up killing her, now Oswald is in love with Edward who now wants to date Isabella so if Oswald comes across Isabella... will he end up killing her so he can have Ed? And Ed and Oswald can't kill each other do to Batman Rogues Insurance so what'll end up becoming of them? And Nygma has used two love riddles in this show!? This first one sounds cooler than the corny one he told Penguin.

She also has terrible taste in men. I know Ed was a bit weird and off-putting, and sometimes creepy. But he was harmless. Kringle had a right to be annoyed with him, but often times she was too cruel to him constantly. And to have a taste in dudes that are constantly pieces of shit, to Ed and also herself, is unfortunate.

I love Riddler so much and definitely relate to him, but at the same time I've also had to deal with a creepy coworker I wasn't into endlessly bugging me and flirting and making me uncomfortable, so I 100% understand Kristen's attitude towards him. Ugh I don't like Kringle at all. Can't say I was all that choked up about her passing... I guess I'm one of those awkward nerds who can relate to Ed so that's why I empathize with him so much. I hate how she called him weird and odd and didn't even try to understand his riddles. Personally, I would love a guy like Ed in my life (maybe not a murderer though...). I like ridiculously intelligent men (and the actor is hot! Later eps, he reminds me of Edups in his appearance). But honestly, he really should have backed off the first time (or maybe the second) she showed she wasn't interested in him so I'm not 100% supportive of his multiple attempts at wooing. It would have worked on me though. :D

For the sake of comedy and simple theory, here's this. And besides, Kristen deserves to being a hate-sink. Have you known and understand the meaning of the "So Beautiful, It's A Curse" trope? And have you watched "The American Dad" episode called "Shallow Vows" and a Jim Carrey movie called "Me, Myself & Irene"? Let both of those to be an friendly reminders, buddy! If Kristen 'Dumbass' Kringle is actually ugly/deformed and fat in the outer appearance, with zits allover her face, a heavy uni-brow, a frizzy hair and a goofy uneven teeth, and wearing nothing in public but nose-piercings, tank-top, fur jacket, tiny shorts and sneakers (talking about a REALLY uglier version of Harley Quinn), and her laugh sounded as goofy unintelligent and obnoxious as the Kanker Sisters (from "Ed Edd N Eddy") like a wilder-beast maybe things worked out differently for her via survived throughout the entire five-seasoned series. In the case of her three brutal jackasses of ex-boyfriends--Arnold Floss, Tom Daugherty and even Edward Claude Gollum Nygma Frollo--who all just simply grossed out at sight of her so they would have leave her alone and none of those three have dated her to begin with while they too busy minding their own business and doing their own jobs within the GCPD they all assigned to (though both Floss and Dougherty don't take their duties as seriously often as Nygma does his): in fact she never get bruises from either Floss or Daugherty because both of them wouldn't want to touch her to even scratch her and they too move/run away as she approaches the moment they see her and they pushing her away she get too close to them. As for Nygma, for the sake of 'get even', he properly ignoring her as much as she does ignoring him, they calling each other 'creep' and treating each other like dirt every time they briefly interact, so neither is a stalker with a crush to one another...in other words, he neither leave a cupcake with a live bullet on her desk nor rush in to use himself as a shield during the gunfire. All this prove that Floss, Daugherty and Nygma are all just as shallow as the titular American Dad named Stan Smith. As Irene from "Me, Myself & Irene" says..."How come I couldn't getting mixed up with an easy-going guy? Maybe it's something to do with this look that just attracts assholes!"...yep, that make perfect sense. Right? Irene, as well as Isabella, did at least try to attract an nice guy while try avoiding assholes, and at least Jessica married to Roger Rabbit because she saw a nice/smart guy in him that made her laugh...unlike Kringle and Buttercup, both who have a TAJMS (Toxic Abusive Jock Masochism Syndrome) that's for sure. However, Kringle still wears glasses, her personality remain the same we actually saw in the show, she even still is a masochist to 'bad boys'--or should I say...'sloppy filthy violent brutes and smelly vulgar fucking hillbilly bikers', I did say about a TAJMS earlier! That's right, she's the one who's been purposely attracted to assholes even without trying hard enough to actually attracting them to herself. The real reason why she chose a police station as workplace, not because she wants to do good to the city, it's because she is longing to get laid with insensitive losers like those so she enjoying getting beat up senselessly by them, she doesn't care whatever he's the right guy for her or not and she doesn't even care about his looks as long as he has nothing to provide but dominance and aggression. That's why she always hitting on either Floss (who later got fired from the GCPD for sexual assaulting teenage girls) or Daugherty because they both are most definitely the most dominant and aggressive men of the entire police force, while during the seasons 1 and 2 she still avoids Nygma because he's too smart, too clean, too nice, too gentle and he looks like a wimp who refuses to harm a fly...until he got arrested for three first murders (minus her own death, I did say about that she's lived because her ugliness) and the incrimination of Jim Gordon, revealing that Nygma himself became dominant and aggressive since the finale of season 1 when he killed Tom Daugherty (his first victim) in self-defense rather than protecting such an ungrateful bitch like her. Of course, throughout seasons 3 and 4 in her perspective, since Floss and Daugherty are now gone, Kringle started to do nothing but watching porno, reading dirty magazines and chasing around 'tough guys' in the street like a cat in heat screaming "Come on, fuck me! FUCK ME!!" with the same choreography as both Amy Rose ( from "Sonic The Hedgehog" franchise) and Tadao Spineless-Little-Shit Yokoshima (from "Ghost Sweeper Mikami"), most of her co-workers in the GCPD (especially Jim Gordon, Lee Thompkins and Harvey Bullock) became disgusted by what she's been doing. As the result, they fired her for constantly slacking off like an brainless high-school chick who doesn't date nice guys (as Chris from "Just Friends" pointed out when complaining about what his best friend Jammie did back in High-school) and at the same time arrested her for an stalking and attempted rape of every jock and lowlife (regardless the fact that some are armed to the teeth) she sees within the city, she live long enough as such a pest even to Nygma who now called himself 'The Riddler', as well as she is that at one time to his new friend Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. 'The Penguin'. Since she have been hearing stories of his crimes which suffice that the fact he is no longer a gentle wimpy nice guy now he's a dominant and aggressive man and while she still have no interest in his superior intelligence and still uncaring for his great love for riddles...all she does is to scream at him like a crazy indecent woman (crazier than even Barbra Keen and stupider than Harley Quinn) "Come on, Nygma! Take me with you! Let's get laid together! Feel so horny I'm can't wait! I just want to be fucked" only to annoy him due to the fact that she still psychically ugly exactly the last time he saw her when they both used to work in the GCPD...so he confront her, ram his fist through her face (breaking her nose and knocking off few teeth in process) and respond angrily "Shut the hell up, you lousy annoying piece of whore shit! We are nothing alike! I never liked you, EVER! I don't want to see your zit pig face for the rest of my life! Now good bye, Miss Kringle.", then he turn around and leave. There as he made it out, Nygma still hear Kringle's moaning and giggling echoing inside the the asylum's halls even through her bleeding nose, she actually does enjoying being beat up...what a dumb-ass she is, disregarding her own well-being all for what he deems as an pointless indulgent! THE END What do you that Kringle still lives if she's ugly as hell while mean to him at the very beginning, way different than what actually happen in "Gotham" TV series? Yeah I can understand especially with Kristen’s files that he oversteps boundaries, but I feel like maybe as people who have to explain things to criminals, victims, and other people in the same job, you think they’d be willing to try to explain it to Ed, he’s not hard headed. Honestly I understand Kristen’s reaction and lashing out because that’s her workspace but I understand him not taking the hint; he just doesn’t respond to anger well, riddles are probably the most emotional responses he can think of to respond to them. Also the crimes and unpleasantries, it’s more ingrained into Gotham culture than Vikings or Spartans. It also probably doesn’t help that the villains are more interesting than a lot of the main characters like Jim or his girlfriends, even Selina and Bruce or Jonathan Crane are struggling to keep up with this shows adult villains, they’re waiting to become cool adults

And some people avoid me... probably because they don't want to deal with me.... It makes me alone, depressive and sad inside... Villains aren't born, they are made.... And society makes them, we've conditioned society to make a person like juaquin pheonix's joker to exist.... We never know what the person next to us went through or has a condition.... For the sake of comedy and simple theory, here's this. And besides, Kristen deserves to being a hate-sink. Saving her life is not slightly possible, the real reason that she 'fell in love' with Nygma was because she only sees in him nothing but dominance and aggression which are very common among jocks, lowlifes and assholes alike! Have you known and understand the meaning of the "So Beautiful, It's A Curse" trope? And have you watched "The American Dad" episode called "Shallow Vows" and a Jim Carrey movie called "Me, Myself & Irene"? Let both of those to be an friendly reminders, buddy! If Kristen 'Dumbass' Kringle is actually ugly/deformed and fat in the outer appearance, with zits allover her face, a heavy uni-brow, a frizzy hair and a goofy uneven teeth, and wearing nothing in public but nose-piercings, tank-top, fur jacket, tiny shorts and sneakers (talking about a REALLY uglier version of Harley Quinn), and her laugh sounded as goofy unintelligent and obnoxious as the Kanker Sisters (from "Ed Edd N Eddy") like a wilder-beast maybe things worked out differently for her via survived throughout the entire five-seasoned series. In the case of her three brutal jackasses of ex-boyfriends--Arnold Floss, Tom Daugherty and even Edward Claude Gollum Nygma Frollo--who all just simply grossed out at sight of her so they would have leave her alone and none of those three have dated her to begin with while they too busy minding their own business and doing their own jobs within the GCPD they all assigned to (though both Floss and Dougherty don't take their duties as seriously often as Nygma does his): in fact she never get bruises from either Floss or Daugherty because both of them wouldn't want to touch her to even scratch her and they too move/run away as she approaches the moment they see her and they pushing her away she get too close to them. As for Nygma, for the sake of 'get even', he properly ignoring her as much as she does ignoring him, they calling each other 'creep' and treating each other like dirt every time they briefly interact, so neither is a stalker with a crush to one another...in other words, he neither leave a cupcake with a live bullet on her desk nor rush in to use himself as a shield during the gunfire. All this prove that Floss, Daugherty and Nygma are all just as shallow as the titular American Dad named Stan Smith. As Irene from "Me, Myself & Irene" says..."How come I couldn't getting mixed up with an easy-going guy? Maybe it's something to do with this look that just attracts assholes!"...yep, that make perfect sense. Right? Irene, as well as Isabella, did at least try to attract an nice guy while try avoiding assholes, and at least Jessica married to Roger Rabbit because she saw a nice/smart guy in him that made her laugh...unlike Kringle and Buttercup, both who have a TAJMS (Toxic Abusive Jock Masochism Syndrome) that's for sure. However, Kringle still wears glasses, her personality remain the same we actually saw in the show, she even still is a masochist to 'bad boys'--or should I say...'sloppy filthy violent brutes and smelly vulgar fucking hillbilly bikers', I did say about a TAJMS earlier! That's right, she's the one who's been purposely attracted to assholes even without trying hard enough to actually attracting them to herself. The real reason why she chose a police station as workplace, not because she wants to do good to the city, it's because she is longing to get laid with insensitive losers like those so she enjoying getting beat up senselessly by them, she doesn't care whatever he's the right guy for her or not and she doesn't even care about his looks as long as he has nothing to provide but dominance and aggression. That's why she always hitting on either Floss (who later got fired from the GCPD for sexual assaulting teenage girls) or Daugherty because they both are most definitely the most dominant and aggressive men of the entire police force, while during the seasons 1 and 2 she still avoids Nygma because he's too smart, too clean, too nice, too gentle and he looks like a wimp who refuses to harm a fly...until he got arrested for three first murders (minus her own death, I did say about that she's lived because her ugliness) and the incrimination of Jim Gordon, revealing that Nygma himself became dominant and aggressive since the finale of season 1 when he killed Tom Daugherty (his first victim) in self-defense rather than protecting such an ungrateful bitch like her. Of course, throughout seasons 3 and 4 in her perspective, since Floss and Daugherty are now gone, Kringle started to do nothing but watching porno, reading dirty magazines and chasing around 'tough guys' in the street like a cat in heat screaming "Come on, fuck me! FUCK ME!!" with the same choreography as both Amy Rose ( from "Sonic The Hedgehog" franchise) and Tadao Spineless-Little-Shit Yokoshima (from "Ghost Sweeper Mikami"), most of her co-workers in the GCPD (especially Jim Gordon, Lee Thompkins and Harvey Bullock) became disgusted by what she's been doing. As the result, they fired her for constantly slacking off like an brainless high-school chick who doesn't date nice guys (as Chris from "Just Friends" pointed out when complaining about what his best friend Jammie did back in High-school) and at the same time arrested her for an stalking and attempted rape of every jock and lowlife (regardless the fact that some are armed to the teeth) she sees within the city, she live long enough as such a pest even to Nygma who now called himself 'The Riddler', as well as she is that at one time to his new friend Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a.
