Your comment brings something else to mind, about looking broken and sad that is, back in December of 2018, I think the news report came around a month later in January of 2019, Aubrey Corley’s then 5 year old daughter looked the same way in that common uploaded photo in which her face was covered in scratches and bruises after she was attacked on the school bus ride home by a 12 year old bully and her 9 year old autistic brother. In the news report her mother described her as loving and outgoing, saying she could get along with anyone. They showed some pics of her before the attack, confirming that she was over all bubbly and happy, it’s just a heartbreaking comparison.

You know, just yesterday, I signed into Reddit, just so I could put those trolls and haters in their places. I came across a page a day or two prior hating on Chloe from The Thundermans. Basically my decision to sign in was like Edward's to fight back against Jim when he saw him slap Kim. "It was personal now." And at the same time I pictured Chloe as Edward and basically any chosen hater on the page as Jim. Chloe doesn't deserve to be hated, she's just cute and innocent, like you all say about Edward. And this should shed a little light on that other response I posted saying that like Jim, these bullying trolls deserved to be forgotten. (Maybe if the page was about Piper Hart from Henry Danger, I'd probably understand a little more, you're not supposed to like her, considering she screams at people about half the time.)

I remember seeing this movie once in the theatre and renting it once, too. It's been a very long time since I watched it last, but I remember looking it up in my movie book, and the cast included Anthony Michael Hall's name, which threw me for a minute, but that's when it occurred to me that he must have played the jerky guy, in fact the quote, "I'd give my left nut to see that again," somehow I was able to match up with Brian Johnson and Farmer Ted. Plus he was the first Rusty Griswold. (I understand he's among the list of brat-packers, along with Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham, one who did not appear in The Breakfast Club.)

Because Edward is, by nature, NOT a violent person. He is meek & gentle, and would rather walk away from a fight than give a guy like Jim the satisfaction.
