my older sister used to do the same with my aunt's little chicks when she was 6-7 years old she would squeeze them so hard and sometimes she would paint the white hen with green paint. My parents got told about this and was so ashamed bc of my aunt's complaints they send her to my grandma for a vacation who lives on a very boring area outside the city..
