Parents love languages is something that isn’t talked about enough. They put a lot of emphasis on “you should be telling your parents you love them” which I get, but like, hearing that isn’t for everyone and maybe that isn’t theirs. It’s weird because for me I don’t like to say it and my siblings don’t say it (it’s uncomfortable, at least for me, especially if said in a serious manner). But my mum likes to hear it and even wishes she’d hear it more and it makes me feel bad :( I guess in these moments it’s where you just have to compromise and be considerate, it’s just not the easiest thing if it really isn’t your “thing”
