When I encountered you at the khwai bridge I got a glimpse of how much effort and time you put into filming those drive-by shots. Probably editing during the trip takes quite some time too. Thanks for all that work and I am glad for you that you found the lion in the end and got rewarded with other very special sightings before and after that . Allthough just being there is big reward in itself as is watching your video's and your positivity. I do worry a bit about khwai becoming more crowded.

Hi Ed we have just rekindled our love of the Khwai we have been to the Khwai 4 times and have never been disappointed, we have never failed to see leopard hyenas or lion in Khwai. We were planning to go to manner pools and south Luangwa next year but we may have been swayed by your post of Magotho to change our plans. Last time we talked you you had just got your vehicle back from Toyota after your bad experience of a rouge technician. This years 6 week tip went well unlike last year which was a disaster, we went to rhino sanctuary elephant sands Chobe Vic falls Hwange and Kruger. Keep on with your dreams the wilds are where the heart is

Good day Ed.im enjoying your episodes here in Botswana. This was really a wild camping i loved it. How do you get ready if any dangerous animal attacks escape plans?
@marktaylor705111 ай бұрын
Another wonderful dose of Botswana, thank you Ed! Interesting commentary about the lodge vehicles going off road. I saw the same thing. All except one vehicle were patiently watching one barely visible old lion lying in wait as some antelope approached. The 4WD got so close, and the hunt was over when the scrawny lion walked away. There was some anger from other vehicles! I posted on facebook, and the vehicle tour company owner apologised. I also got flamed by some drivers. It was how they made a reasonable income , by negotiating a price to do it with their rich impatient clientele. Don't know how you stop it?

Another beautiful video mate, Magotho is a jewel.. 👌👌 Pity its getting too crowded most likely because of steep park fees.. Nature was your friend on this trip, saw everything there is to see ❤❤ My guess is you are going to wild camp somewhere between Savuti and Linyanti, there is no way you going to escape the Linyanti sand. Looking forward to the next episode.. ❤️🇧🇼🇧🇼

When you are there it is actually not that scary as long as you respect the animals. Im scared of leopards but never had the urge to run away when they came into camp.
@reynardbrits28393 ай бұрын
I mean as you can see the leopard is just minding his own business and 99% of all encounters is like that. Still you must be vigilant as you never know when a old injured leopard will come
