Hi Ed, your videos are magic, please keep them coming, I am an avid follower as with Ryan and Chris. My family have just done your exact route from Khama Rhino, our final destination was Nxai Pan but didn’t make it, but as you guys always say “ What an adventure“ We crossed the Boteti to go through Khumaga Park to Phududu, cross the road to Nxai. Got stuck horribly stuck ( massive schoolboy mistake,) didn’t let Tyres down 8km from the gate and if it wasn’t for anti poaching unit ( great guys ) coming to the rescue.would probably still be there!! Got back to Khumaga and camped the night. Lion visit early evening, knocked over jerry can and stole my recovery rope. If you ever pass via Gabs, pull into my family Pub, Bull & Bush for a cold on would love to share some unreliable memories. Take care, Keep Bushing !!!

We're back from Botswana since 1 month now. we spent 3 weeks in the country, from Kasane to Kasane, by Makgadikgadi NP, crossing Boteti river, CKGR and then Moremi, Savuti and Chobe river front (and the cruise with Cherry!!). whaou. what an adventure. I enjoy a lot to see now your videos, make me realize more and more that what we did was awesome. just want to come back. Thanks a lots for your videos. I follow you since January 2021, when I started to plan our trip to Botswana. It helped me a lot. What you do is amazing. we are a bit far from Botswana to can come as often as you, but we'll come back for sure, Laetitia

Hi Ed. Thanks for sharing this. It helps us re-live past trips and anticipate futures ones. We’ve planned our 2nd trip to South Gate and Khwai in July 22. We still savouring a trip to Mabuasehube in Jan 21, just as the first opened after lockdown. We were the first to drive the Mabuasehube Wilderness Trail (in 50 deg heat). The overnight at Monomonde Pan, with nothing but a tree, will be one to remember forever. Surrounded and circled by roaring lion, all night and into the morning. They hadn’t seen trace of human activity for nearly a year. The night before, my wife and I were visited by a huge male leopard while showering at sunset at Lesholoago! Fortunately he moved off without trying to taste us. What a wonderful land.

@@EdwardBath you are welcome Ed. I did not get to this part of Botswana, so it is a treat to see it. Seems sad that you need to warn people to be courteous in their comments. Why they can't appreciate the beautiful work that you do and that you are showing southern Africa at its best.

I guess a shoebox full of cash hidden in your kit somewhere is a necessary item on these trips. If an electrical pulse takes out the internet and online banking system so cards no longer work we will all be in trouble - unless we can live in a tent in the wilderness if we have to and you guys look well set up for that eventuality.

I love that episode. Brings me so many fond memories. When I was there, Boteti river was quite dry and could cross it without the ferry. I even drove it South and we came across the Zebra Migration. This was one of my most incredible experience as it came so unexpected. Can't wait Khwai episode.

Great to see you, Ryan and Christoff back on safari. In May, I was in Kruger and was astonished. Although I am in the UK at the moment I will be back in a few weeks' time. I am surprised you can't prepay Park fees and permits online before you leave for an expedition such as this one?
