If you can make a guitar sound as good as this guy does, then it doesn’t matter where the guitar is made.

Hey I own an Edwards E-SA 160 semi hollow and that guitar is made in China I'm pretty sure. It's still a nice guitar, the edwards people do a good job of inspecting and finishing them off. Nice guitar btw.
@solomonicdemons6802 жыл бұрын
Yes they definitely do. I wish we will have something similar here in America because the prices of a new EII guitars are becoming ridiculous.

@@solomonicdemons680 You can import the japanese guitar brands without too much issue thankfully. Yea guitar prices have gone up a lot since 2020 I suggest looking around and making an informed decision before pulling the plug. I would like to get a Tokai semi hollow next. But i have no issues with the edwards I would say its my favorite guitar I own currently. That says a lot about their testament to keep their standard high.

Doesn't the sticker/label inside the body indicate where it is made?

After listening to your explanation, I check some Edwards that are available in my country. What I find is if an Edwards is Gibson or Fender copy, there is no "Design and build by ESP" logo. Only made in Japan sticker. For other model, there is always "Design and build by ESP" logo in the back of the headstock and made in Japan sticker.

Those are made in JAPAN I have an Edwards ELP and I gonna make a video soon about it. Those replicas o almost perfect copies of Strats, Les Pauls that have the same headstock than Gibson and Fender are made in Tokio.

Hi, does anyone know if edwards applies graphite reinforcement to his necks?
@solomonicdemons6802 жыл бұрын
Yes all of them with exception of the Maple necks. Like EII

Are you sure about this? I have the Alexi Laiho Edwards. It says Designed by ESP. But its very well crafted. Way better then anything Chinese made I've seen before.
@solomonicdemons6802 жыл бұрын
That's what I was told. But like I said in the video ESP wont compromise the quality no matter where Edwards are made. The guitars get inspected in Japan.

@@solomonicdemons680 So Edwards stamped with “designed by ESP” are made in China, but inspected in Japan? I’m just confused. Because the tuners themselves, are Gotto or whatever. I know I’m spelling it wrong. But they are Japanese made components. And the Floyd 1000 series, is Korean made. So why ship this products to China, for assembly, then to Japan for inspections? Doesn’t sound logical to me. But hey, what do I know? I don’t work for ESP.

I know a ESP QC man,he said both ESP EII and Edwards 30% made in china ,70% made in Japan

what is the different between esp standard series and edwards? the quality and hardware just the same except the logo

@@elvisstirfryhk2870 MIJ Edwards always have Gotoh Tuners and bridge , Seymour Duncan pickups and switchcraft switch , not just a logo 👍
