My band opened for Edwin McCain for a small club show in Cincinnati around 1996. He had released "Solitude" but "I'll Be" wasn't out yet. He was the nicest guy. He dropped in to our dingy green room, looking a bit red-eyed, and introduced himself! He said he had just played the Letterman show the night before and he and the band were totally beat. He said they were going back to their hotel for a while to chill and we could help ourselves to the beer and whatever else was in their (much nicer) green room. And we did. :) Again, great down-to-earth guy!

What I would give to live through the 90s again I was born in 86 I remember this song on star 94 out of Atlanta and I would get such a visceral emotional feeling from this song, I mean you could feel what it was like to be in love from this song never having even experienced that as a kid now I’m 35 and I know exactly what that feels like the overwhelming sadness of missing the girl I love ❤️ they just don’t write songs like this anymore.
