This does make a lot of sense. I thought they were doing the Game of Thrones fade out, where they got people invested from the sex scenes and then faded it out once people were more invested in the story but I like this better

even though this season is more slowburn, i find it way hotter than s1 cuz the yearning, almost touches, longing looks and anthony’s “poetry” had me panting and fanning myself

I had the exact same realization about the sex in this season. I enjoyed way more, it made it an easier watch and when someone did have sex it was more of a pay off cause they earned it this season. I also think last season had so much sex because it was playing off daphne not knowing anything about it and it was more important to include so much of it

@@MonicaCatapusan It's heavily theorized what he does is supposed to launch us into season 3's romance arc based on the book's plotline. But, if you ask me as a book reader, what he does in the show is very much different than in the books. It's so much meaner. Let's just say I hope he has a horrified "My god, what did I do?" moment that makes him regret it.

Season 2 is so much better because of the main couple. Kate & Anthony. The chemistry between Kanthony is way way way better than Daphne & Simon. I feel so much more for them, care for them thn I ever did for Daphne & Simon. I hope you will love season 2

Season 2 still can't compete with Season 1, Season 1 love story and the Simon Character was waaaaaaaay better than the Anthony character, many of the characters in season 1 was better, season 2 was boring and they tried to much to follow season 1 love chemistry and it Fail, season 2 fail for me as a male viewer who hate period drama but liked Season 1 the Simon SUAVE cool character made me finish season 1, season 2 lost 75% of the male viewers i could not finish i kept fast fowarding to see if it will get any better for me because i and most of my friends really don't like the Anthony character he is to typical of the period drama male actor men find boring and dislike, Simon was not the typical period drama male character thats why many especially us men who don't watch that period drama shit liked and could finish season 1.
