Books, supplies & transportation would both be considered indirect cost? If so they should not be on my final bill right?
@edzamoracollegeprepchannel38202 жыл бұрын
They would not unless it's a requirement of a specific program.

So the school we are looking at is 40,000 per year we have to take a parent loan for approx 20,000 per year. Will the parent plus loan cover this crazy amount every year? Do they just give out money like candy, whatever you need they give it out? I’m confused about all of this. This is my first time exploring all of this and I have 2 kids now in college with no means of sending them. I need help.......

Ask your children to apply to a heck ton of scholarships..!!! Your county & school usually have their own locally offered scholarships, less competitive, which could definitely be winnable. But! the university choice could also be reconsidered..: 2 years at a state school or any trustworthy community college and then an immediate transfer to that university you're having a liking to. Just make sure both places have their interested/chosen major; thisll help make it a seemless transfer to graduate into their program

Thank you for your videos. We already completed the FAFSA. My son did not qualify for federal aid for the school year 2022-23. He will be living on campus. When should we apply for loans? Can we include the room and board( dorm) in our loans? Thanks

When taking a loan there are three options given to be able to pay back the loan what would suggest would be the best option?
@edzamoracollegeprepchannel38203 жыл бұрын
If you can pay the Principal and Interest it will provide the best rate. If not I like to at least pay the interest while the student is in college.

What if i have to delay it 15 to 25 days like instead of paying at August 1st, it will be 25th? Should I talk to the college, or take a silent till i pay it?

Thank you for watching. Here are a few ideas I would consider: 1. Don't say anything and pay late (usually comes with a late fee. 2. Set up a monthly payment plan then cancel it. 3. Take out a loan and before the school certifies it pay your balance and cancel the loan Usually my answer depends on the college but here are some ideas to consider.

The safest bet is to talk to the college. But figured I'd give you some ideas too.
