EEFs are essentially the same as performing a SWOT analysis when looking at the org. business case?
@ProjectManagementVideos4 жыл бұрын
EEF's, or Enterprise Environmental Factors, are the current conditions surrounding the project both within the organization and outside of it. I am not sure if Opportunities and Threats would apply as these are always in the future. Strengths and Weaknesses might be contributing factors to the current conditions or EEF's. Hope this clarifies.

Thanks for your response Edward...I’m going through your videos now trying to put things into prospective (knocking off the rust).

Hi Is Government or Industry standards an EEFs or OPAs?
@ProjectManagementVideos2 жыл бұрын
EEF - They are part of the environment of your project
@engjbarros864 жыл бұрын
Hi Edward! Thanks a lot for your videos here. Hey, how can "Organizational Communication Needs" and "Criteria to Complete" be considered OPAs? Aren't they EEF or something else? Thanks :D
@ProjectManagementVideos4 жыл бұрын
Usually, any knowledge or data we have about the organization (such as Organizational Communication Needs) and also developed processes (Criteria to Complete) would be considered OPA's. EEF's are related more to the environment in which the project is being executed and include the culture, mentality and maturity of the organization, as well as the conditions outside the organization (like the regional laws or cash liquidity, etc...). Hope this helps.
@maracay200014 жыл бұрын
it is my understanding that a PMO is a group or department within an organization, why do you refer to PMO as an individual?
@ProjectManagementVideos4 жыл бұрын
The PMO is a group or dept like you said. I am not sure that I would have referred to a PMO as an individual. Which portion of the video are you referring to?
@MrSarcasmo4 жыл бұрын
if I find out that a company is working only 35 h per week. is that an EEF?
@ProjectManagementVideos4 жыл бұрын
Yes. These details are factors related to the environment of your project. So they are EEF’s.

PRO-CE-DURES…..not procedees!
@ProjectManagementVideos4 жыл бұрын
Hi...I am not sure I understood your message. Did I say procedees? Maybe it was "processes"? Anyways, I would appreciate if you can let me know at what time in the video I said that. Thanks for watching!
