I think EVERY battlefield i ever played, i enjoyed the exact same amount. the only thing i think BF2042 needs is better maps but thats not a super big deal to me.

The game has gotten a lot better and i really enjoy it. I left COD cause it’s really boring and there’s nothing exciting about it but for bf2042 there’s an excitement

Probably an unpopular opinion but in terms of personal enjoyment with the game I think battlefield hardline was the best for me, I don't even remember how old I was but it was the only game I looked forward to playing every single day after school and all day on weekends for a good year or so, then I lost my ps3 so I haven't been able to play it since but I'd go back if I could

Ive tried getting back into this game every other major update, quickly giving up after a couple of games every time :( It feels bad since i loved almost every battlefield game till this one

in the same boat man, i grew up with battlefield over call of duty so 2042 is one of the only battlefields i haven't been fully invested in. I used to watch hours of battlefield videos and i watch absolutely 0 nowadays. It's so sad man lol

Whats so bad about it though? Yea when it dropped it was a rubbish game, its much better now. I’ve played battlefield since 1942 and yea 2042 is no where near as good as any others, however you still get the battlefield moments and I’ve had some great battlefield carnage moment with 2042. 128 player matches have given me some of the best firefights I’ve come across in years. Im generally curious on why people things its so bad they feel they need to not play it?

I bought BF5 on a whim, should I have gotten this instead? Not a battlefield player so I have no idea which one is best. I only choose BF5 because it's the most populated one but I might've wasted my money lol. At least I didn't pay full price though.

i think BFV is miles better than this game so you made the right choice - Battlefield 1 is still my favourite recent Battlefield fun-wise. It's definitely not competitive but it's so damn good.

I havent enjoyed this series since BF4. Didnt like V, 1, or Hardline - tried this game and stopped after a couple of hours. It's lifeless Getting a PS4 day1 with BF4 and watching the opening scene in the singleplayer literally made me go "ohhhh shit" with a giant grin on my face.

games still fun, it's just nowhere near any other battlefield in terms of gunplay, maps and the mouse input - portal is fun af tho but the original BF2042 all out warfare modes aren't it

@@eefan I would take 2042 over BF4, BF1 or BFV. BF4 has by far the worst map design in the series (imho), BF1 is a boring game with bad gunplay and BFV is an overcomplicated mess with cheater problems. I don't think your two matches really showed you what 2042 has to offer. Because I haven't had that much fun since BF3 and Hardline But, again, I can't really change your opinion if it was biased since the beginning (and to be perfectly clear - my opinion is just as biased here)

​@@thebigsam BF4 had some ok maps? The gunplay was definitely not good. Idk about BF1. The guns had a satisfying kick and were definitely way better than 2042. I always thought BF 1 and V had terrible maps since most were just out in the open with vegetation or trenches
