I got banned from all my EA games, some of which I bought over 10 years ago, for seven whole days for calling someone a bad word in chat on Apex Legends after he had been abusing me over voice chat for a couple of minutes. It was ONE TIME when I lost my cool, and it was just the "r-word". In the mail I got from EA, they also warned me that if it were to happen again, I could permanently lose access to all my games. That's hundreds of dollars worth of games - many of them single player games - that I have a right to play being taken away from me for saying a couple of bad words in ONE video game. How that could possibly be legal I have no idea.

Many gamers say "these woke games aren't made for gamers" and they're definitely NOT wrong at all, its 100% true. After doing a little bit of research into Blackrock and ESG-funded games, the reason why 99.9% of these woke games are so bad is because they're NOT meant for gamers of any kind, they're meant for investors, shareholders and to accumulate more ESG points. Most of these woke "games" (and I use the term "games" very loosely) are political propaganda tools disguised as "games". The woker the game, the more ESG points these developers get, and with more ESG points comes access to bigger funds, more payouts to the CEOs & more loans. Although that revenue stream is short-lived because after their woke games flop and their companies go out of business (like Volition when they released that horrible Saints Row reboot), the ESG money, bonuses, loans & prizes all comes to an end. Either way, thats why all these DEI-infested ESG-funded games are so bad, like laughably bad, because most of these devs purposely try to make their game as woke as possible to satisfy woke-shareholders. A lot of these devs also dont even care if their games flop, they just go from project to project injecting it with woke propaganda because they know that they're gonna get their cash & prizes from their big-daddy investor BlackRock. Its basically almost like a money-laundering scheme. Make a game, fill it with as much DEI nonsense as humanely possible to satisfy investors (not caring about the fact that it will destroy said game), release it to the public, and collect their ESG-payouts regardless if the game flops or not (although if its woke, it most likely will flop). Then they rinse & repeat. Its almost a never-ending cycle. The only way it will ever end is when every single studio that embraces DEI goes bankrupt due to all their games flopping & gets shut down. Greedy console brands, (mainly So.ny) made it their objective to sell as many consoles as possible even if they weren’t played and made sure the games could reach as much of a large audience as possible. That’s why they are all so dead on easy, censored, movie like and mono toned. The remake games over the past 2 console generations have been parody of themselves and took everything that made them great then threw them off a cliff. (Resident-Evil, FF-7 and now Silent Hill 2 and Meta Gear 3). Games aren’t meant to entertain more than they are to fill a quota (yeah THOSE kinds) and movie copies even if they aren’t necessarily good. Review scores are brought, hype can be pushed and any critical opinions silenced. Not sure I agree with "short", but they were definitely impactful. Modern games have meandering summaries that have the vibe of originally being feature bulletpoints, then the boss walks in and says "hey now, you were supposed to write a 100 word summary!" And rather than starting over, the woman or gay man writing it, with the skill set of someone who's never written in their life and only managed to reach adulthood because of being protected from natural selection, tries to stretch out the bulletpoints into a summary. It's always bland, and always overstays its welcome. Many older game descriptions started with one or two powerful taglines to grab the gamers attention, followed by a summary of the plot, usually done in a style that reflects the feel of playing the game, rather than just describing what you'll be doing. A game from the 00's would have a summary along the lines of "Merc the Devil! The world is about to end, and the only chance at salvation rests on the shoulders of Flint Steel. Along with your gang of mercenaries, push back the armies of Satan, bring light back to the world, and learn what truly separates man from monster." The same game released today would have a description more akin to "uh oh, the devil's lost his temper again! Go on an adventure with your buddies as you beat 8 harrowing levels! Use the new and entirely original glider to find new ways to approach levels, and encounter never before seen enemy types and powerups! Just remember to follow your heart, and every little thing will be alright!" I truly wish that that were an exaggeration, but if anything, that may be giving too much credit to games from the 2020's.

I'm a woman who grew up on 2000 games. I remember the description of dmc3 on the box with the game: "Dante is diabolically young, diabolically handsome and devilishly angry with his brother Vergil that he swears to kill..."(not accurate description since I'm not American) and there is a picture of angst young man with a sword. This sold the game for me! Resident evil 2 description was also hardcore and threw challenge. Still one of my favorite games.

Dead Space Remake 2023 is a really good example. Kendra was mentioning she would never mess with her “girlfriend” in the intro. She was not gay in 2008, and I don’t know why that bothered me so much when I played it last year. Seemed extremely unnecessary. Feels like the gay woke mentality is being forced on us. There is a difference between respecting someone’s preferences, and having it shoved in our face for 4 years straight. The entire world is not %100 gay.
