This is not a very common condition and I have only seen a handful of patients. I suspect that these patients will be relatively more photosensitive. I would expect that reactivity to eye opening and closing will be there early on in the disease but not in the advanced cases.

Photosensitivity is very common in this disease. Can you explain why you think it isn’t and why you believe it goes away later in the disease?

There are different types of Progressive Myoclonic Epilepsies. Some types do not have a cure. It is best to consult with a neurologist in your region.
