They just sound like any PC master race scumbag out there, thinking they are above everything because they invest into a PC and have to judge everyone else's choices on how they game or what they like. "Don't emulate on a Mac they are terrible" it's why I find some pc fanboys insufferable, they will judge you on what you like and think they are better than you because they spent 2000 dollars on a PC that isnt much better than the ps5 and series x considering that those are just 500 dollars.

You can tell Chad was overexaggerating for the camera, but also: PC Master Race is supposed to be a term towards console vs PC. Macs are already PCs, it's like comparing a Russian guy and American guy vs comparing a human and a howler monkey. I know they're being overly harsh about Macs, but I'm 99% sure Windows has better stability for emulation. Just wanted to say that.

I've heard it said before on other videos, if Nintendo made an online store To BUY Official roms? A lot of people would probably be fine with that alternative. One example i will always use to argue for emulation is MOTHER 3... 15 Years and no english release without the fan translation patch, absolutely no shame...

They used to do that. It was called Virtual Console, because all of those titles were emulated. It wasn't a "buy whatever you want" store but it was the closest we'll probably ever get.

@@superdude7254 AM2R and Uranium weren't ROM Hacks, AM2R is it's own code and Uranium was made through RPG Maker/Pokémon Essentials

Good news: Nintendo just released an expansion pack version of their online service that adds N64 games with online play and are selling a wireless N64 controller along with it. Bad news: the service is over double the price of normal online a year, the online is shit, and the controller is only sold through their store. Sucks.

12:09 It might surprise you to hear, but OpenEmu is actually a much better emulator than anything you can find on Windows in terms of ease of use. Gaming on PC is still much better than on a Mac in general, but MacBooks can emulate quite a lot of games despite their limited GPU.

I will say this while you can probably do more with windows emulators but I'm just gonna say. Open emu for Mac is one of the cleanest emulators I ever used

Another thing about emulation that Nintendo had already solved was ROM hacks. Back in the day, ROM hacks of Super Mario World became a huge thing. People were making their own games, but the main thing about it was that people wanted to make their own Mario levels. Nintendo saw that, and instead of throwing every person and their family who thought to hack Super Mario World in prison, they took advantage of that interest in making their own levels, and made Super Mario Maker, which of course, became a huge success. I'm hoping Nintendo could do the same with Pokémon rom hacks. Making official software for people to make their own Pokémon games and release them on an official website.

I'm just gonna say this, if all Emulators were just mimicking the Hardware, and were given access to a Blu Ray Drive, or some form of a Disc, Cartridge, Card, or even UMD Reader, so you can play your Physical Games on your PC with All the bells n whistles that Scott mentioned! I think That'd be the perfect Middle-ground!

I've been using Pizza Boy emulators to play on my smartphone. I repurchased a number of these games from the 3DS Virtual Console, but now my 3DS xl needs maintenance. It's thanks to emulators like Pizza Boy that I can even return to a part of my backlog.

All I'll need to say is if you don't own RDR 1 on disc for xbox 360, the only way to play it is either on a ps3 which might be too rundown to even read the disc or you emulate that classic on a pc and have some wacky adventures in John's first appearance.

MAME is an arcade emulator. It's very noticeable in his video that he used it since it doesn't load the level the same way the arcade board does. So the fact that he directly lied about it isn't great. With emulators, and the fact that it wasn't filmed live, there is no way to know if it was played in one sitting. You know that thing Scott was showing where you can rewind the game? Billy could've done that 1000 times during his playthrough and edited out all the errors. There's literally no way to know when it isn't filmed live and is on an emulator.

If your playing switch emulation (I mainly do it due to the pricing and the fact that the game isn't in 2k let alone 4k) in this case Breathe Of The Wild i've enhanced textures dramatically and made 2k but heres where the problem starts the switch has gyro controls and a touch screen... but I've found finally a controller that works for it a PS5 controller it has both touch screen and working gyro! the gyro isn't perfect as obviously when using the slate abilities unless your standing and wireless you can't always turn around you'll need to buy a cable seperately if your buying the standalone PS5 controller as they don't come with wires I reccomend Power-A as it's officially liscenced by sony (and not some rip-off that only charges it) Also that's cause cemu doesn't appear to work with bluetooth at least not to my knowledge! it's a good substitute with exception to pointing controls like the wiimote so I reccomend setting it to pro controller or something alike or wii gamepad and set control type to SDL! rumble works but I don't reccomend it on the ps5 since dualsense wasn't designed to be configured like a standard rumble so it doesn't feel like what you'd be used to!
